There is a wonderful day behind today besides me getting a day off from school. Memorial Day is a day we should all take time to remember all of the soldiers who lost their lives during their service in the military. The bravery soldiers have to risk their lives to protect our country is something that we need to thankful for. If it wasnt for them we would not have the country we have today. It does sadden me though how many soldiers lose their lives in battle. I really do not think its necessary and right but I guess it has to do with my anti war and all peace ways.
Anyways, I spent yesterday and today up at the cabin. It sure was hot today! I experienced something really amazing a few days ago. I have been hesitant and very non confident about driving but something clicked. A few days ago after driving through my busy town I felt like I could drive anywhere. Ever since that I am more comfortable behind the wheel and not shaky. I guess its a lot like learning to ride a bicycle. So, this weekend I drove a lot and liked being behind the wheel. The exciting news is my mom took me car shopping today. We went to the auto mall near our cabin that has Jeeps because those are the cars I am very interested in. Guess what I test drove. A used jeep patriot in my favorite color! Surf blue pearl, which is a very smexy blue that I call candy blue. I also sat in a mustang, but I dont do well in lower cars. Cant see as well and I like being higher off the ground since I am already short. After test driving the patriot I knew I wanted it. Its stunning. We didnt get it today since my mom is smart and checks into more information about cars. Awesome news is she thinks its the right car for me. So, if the car gods are on my side that car soon will be in my driveway.
hi anna, i’m a USAF vet. i was anti-war when i was in the service and i still am. keep your peace-mind. the only people who profit from war are multinational corporations.
as far as your new car- good luck. be careful out there. and do yourself a favor- learn how your car works. it will come in handy.

Hi Anna, nice commentary on Memorial Day. Regardless of the circumstances, whether war is necessary or not, bravery and courage are to be appreciated. Is war hell? Yes.
