A Thankful Thanksgiving

Do you know why I love Thanksgiving? Alright, besides all of the good food and seeing family. Its a time to remember of everything that I am thankful for and I cherish. I mean really we should all realize what we are thankful for everyday but sometimes we forget.

There is so much that I am thankful for. I am not going into deep detail because the list probably would never end. The main two people that I am thankful for are my mother and my grandma. I would not be the person that I am today if it was not for their guidance and love. My family may be small but its strong and we stick together through everything. Love is stronger than anything.Thanks mother and grandma.

Another thing I am thankful for are my furry family. They are always teaching me something through their patience, love and their unique personalities. They give so much love and sometimes more love than a lot of people out there. They may not talk but they really help guide me through life. Knowing that they will always love me and be there is all I need from them. Thanks Princess, Lady, Oliver and Callie.

Last thing that I am thankful for that I am going to share is Life. Sounds ridiculous? Well, its not. You never know when you could be taking your last walk, eating your last meal or even breathing your last breath. We all know life is short but sometimes we do not realize how short it can be. No one knows exactly when they are going to die. So, cherish every second of it and take every chance you get to enjoy it. Thanks God for giving me life.

It was a great day full of family time with my mom and grandma. Since, my grandma lives in an assistant living place my mom brought her over to our house for Thanksgiving. She had fun and enjoyed seeing me. Grandma has a tendency to repeat herself but what would you expect at her grand age. Hey, at least I will never forget our conversations. They are glued into my brain. She sure is one tough lady and enjoyed the food mom made. P.S. She thought it was Christmas. I guess she is excited for gifts. Do not worry Grandma, Christmas will be here shortly.

The only time you will ever see my mom spend hours in the kitchen cooking is for holidays like Thanksgiving. She is not a big cooker but when she does cook it tastes good. All the food was good today. Well, besides the zucchini, but thats because I dont like it. Eww. Icky. I did eat the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans and the mashed yams. I was stuffed after all that food. Probably gained a few pounds but thats alright. That will burn off pretty quickly.

I hope everyone had a nice thankful Thanksgiving like I did. Hope you all ate a lot and had a few laughs. I do hope you all took a moment and realized what you are truely thankful for. So, my question for you all is what is your favorite food to eat on Thanksgiving? Mine is stuffing. Its always yummy and good. Stay thankful. Peace.

Dogs Are Inspiration

There is a lot in life that inspires me to move forward and try to succeed. But dogs inspire me the most. With their eyes, expressions and just their passion to live in the day keeps me going. Princess who is in the photo above is my main guide in life. Thats my girl. The one I can hug hug hug and she will just stay where she is until I feel better. She has a lot of patience and that to me is very important in life. I use to be very impatient. At least when I was younger. I would go nuts if I did not get food in my stomach as soon as I was hungry. I may still be upset if I do not eat for a long time but I can wait now. I can sit in a restaurant and not throw utensils around and draw on walls. Okay, I never drew on walls when I was hungry but it sounded like something I would do if I had a crayon in my little hands.

Speaking of food and being hungry, here is the Lady. Food freak of the pack. She inspires me to eat all I can. Just grab anything that is edible. She is right though. You never know when you could be living with no food. Just think of all the poor people in the world who search for a piece of bread everyday and thats how they live their life. She makes me thankful that I have food that I can eat and share with the pack. We take so much for granted in life and dont stop to realize how precious everything we have is.

Ah, its Oliver. The spunky happy pill of the pack. He makes me laugh everyday someway or another. Oliver is such a inspiration to just live. He is so happy and playful. All he wants to do is live life. He takes every chance he can get out there and enjoy life. You all know the energizer bunny. Well, Oliver is the energizer puppy. So, if Oliver could talk to you all he would tell all of you to always have fun no matter how old you are. Live life to the fullest and just go crazy. Well, just not too crazy.

I took these photos of the pooches today. Sun was out for once so I grabbed my camera and took a lot of great photos of the pack. You can see the rest of the photos on my flickr page. There are a lot of new ones because I liked most of them I took today. I hope you do too. Let me know what you think of them and I would also like to know what is your inspirations in life. Its not everyday you meet a person like me. You cant walk into a store and buy a replica of me. I am one of a kind. A gal with an outgoing personality who will surprise you everyday with character like no other.I can be very upbeat and then I can be really serious. Depending on the time and day. Anyways, I am excited that its almost Friday. Yay! Everyone stand up and dance around. Its almost Fridayyy. I am excited. Icky thing is, its suppose to be bad weather tomorrow. Ugh. The Jersey Chills

tree_wordsWhy run through life when you can walk? Life may be short but there is so much to take in before its gone from us. If you run through life you will miss the beauty in it. You will miss the little sudden changes in nature and life itself. Take your time through life and you will cherish everything more. Run and you might miss something and regret it when its too late. Do not hesitate to live. Life is short and you only have one. So, get out there and do what you like and do not let yourself be held back by anyone or anything.

Ah cool weather here in Jersey. Its been in the sixties here which is kinda chilly but not too bad. You can tell summer is gone and fall is here. Noo! Well, I may not like the cold that much but its great to see the seasons change. Great time to take photos. So, a question just came to my brain to ask you all. Do you like cold weather or warm weather better?

Look at this tree. I took this one day while walking through the park with Princess. As you can see it says Ann and if it had an a at the end it would of been my name. I thought it was just a pretty cool tree with the words to photograph. Something you do not see everyday. Anyways, its a great night to just surf the net and play with Callie. I have my music playing and right now the song Obsessed by Mariah Carey is on. Ah, I just love music so much. So, I hope you all had a nice Saturday and I will be on if anyone wants to chit chat. Never Give Up

Bicycle_ReflectionI got some good advice to share with you all. I am a gal who is familiar with giving up in the past and wants to inspire you all not to and help you if you need it. I will tell you something I learned from giving up. Want to know what I learned? Well, I learned it got me no where in life. You give up and it will hurt you and can hurt others around you. Life is short. Lets all go forward and succeed. Giving up is never the answer I have learned through my life so far.

Why have I given up in the past? Well, one reason is I thought i could never succeed. Why try and fail right? Well, so you know at least you put effort in it and did the best you can. That is what matters. Another reason I have given up in life is because sometimes for myself I am not doing a good enough job. I sometimes beat myself up to try to be as perfect as I can be and that leads to failure. No one is perfect in life. You just got to accept who you are and know you did the best you could. Do not ever ever ever tell yourself your not good enough. It will surely mess with you and make you unstable in life. One other reason is sometimes it seems easier to just give up. Ah, yes that is what a lot of us can relate with. Just throw everything under the bus right? Eh, seems simple. The thing is it will come back and bite you in the butt. It will sneak up on you and you will panic or regret not going forward with whatever it was you given up on. I admit I have done that lots of times and I still do. I try to think before giving up though now. I try to go forward and give it my all instead of just not trying at all.

So, never give up. That is my inspiring advice I have for the day. One last thing is knowing you have people who care and will help you through any tough situations is important. You are not alone out there. We all go through our giving up stage. We just got to stick with the ones who will lift us up and tell us we can do it. Being around positive people is important. Do not talk or be around people who just put you down. Stay strong. Its your life. You can do it! You can succeed!

Anyways, like the photo? I think its pretty cool. A bicycle and its reflection. It is not my bicycle. It is my friends. Some of you might have not known this about me but I am a bicycler. Not one of those pro bicyclers but I do love riding my bicycle. Just great exercise and lots of fun to go on a path for miles and miles. Let me know what you think of the photo. Unique is Good

CallieKitten I got some exciting news! I got my nikon d40 back today. Yes I did. I am so excited. The minute I got it back in my hands I started taking photos of Callie, my dogs and just anything. I missed it so much that I just can barely put it down now. I love you my nikon d40. My love of my visions.

Now, lets get to the topic of the post. Being unique. Yes, we all know at least one of them and if you do not well now you do. It is not easy being unique. At least from my experiences. I am telling you that I do not fit in easily with people. There are not very many who understand me or take the time to. It is not hard to if you just take the time and observe and listen.

First off for a teenager I definitely do not fit in very well. I am not one of those girly girls and I am very independent. I do not follow all the interests of the other teenagers. They like clothing, makeup, miley cyrus, drugs and etc. Not me. Mine main interests include dogs, photography, bicycling and social media. Those are the interests I surround myself around. I aint interested in talking about clothing for hours or painting my nails. Yea, I guess you can call me partly tom boyish but really I do not fit in that category either. I fit under unique or special.

Another thing is I am not very closed minded. I am open minded on most things. Would you judge a book by its cover? Well, maybe you do but I wouldnt if I was ever going to read a book. I do not judge people by what I see. I give everyone a chance to get a long with me. I do not close my mind on other people’s opinions either. I will let them say what they believe. I am not saying I will agree but it is not like I am going to hate you or something by your thoughts and opinions.

So, to all you unique people out there. Be proud of being unique. You are not alone. There may be very few of us out amd may stand out but that will make us succeed in life. You may feel like no one likes you but I have found some people out there who cherish us. Ones who like unique. Do not give up and do not hide. be yourself and thats all that matters.
