First off, she is a dog. A fluffy chunkalicious dog. I know there are people out there who will not understand how a dog can be my best friend and more than just a best friend. Dont worry this post is dedicated to her and I will explain why she is so special to me. Than if anyone feels like arguing with me about it you can but its not a subject you can get me to change about. I also know there are a lot of people who will understand how she is my best friend. Its easy for you if you feel the same way about your dog, cat, horse, bird, lizard, fish and any other animal you have. The connection between a dog and its owner can be as strong as between two people. It can even be stronger.
I do like people and get along with them but I connect better with animals. Especially dogs. I mean if you are a dog lover we will probably get along right away since we have that similar interest. Warning, I can talk and talk about dogs for hours. Anyways, the point I am getting to and a lot of you can agree with is you can be yourself with dogs. They do not judge you. They do not hate. All they try to do is please you and help you when you need it. So, lets get to my girl. My best friend for life..
Yes, most of you probably guessed. It is the Princess. Just look at that face. It explains it all. She is my best friend, my sister, my daughter, my dog, my sidekick, my therapist and everything else. I am not a person who usually points out someone is better than someone else. I do love all my dogs and they know it but there are those special ones that stand out a little more and she is one of them. If you met her you would understand why. She is sweet, loving, loyal, adventurous and a perfect dog. Its funny, I feel like she is the dog version of me. We are both short, sturdy, strong, and full of love to give to the world. Only thing is, she has better hair than me. Wonderful thick white hair. I am jealous of it but she keeps me warm in the winter.
Her best feature is her ability to just be near you when you need it most. She will let me hold her in my arms as long as I want her to. I love hugging her. They sure are warm hugs. I also love her eyes. She has stunning eyes. Big and talkative. Yes, her eyes talk. They say everything. From, she is hungry to I love you. Dogs may not speak like humans but they communicate in their own ways. I love that about them. Another wonderful trait she has is she loves everyone (except the mailman). When we go anywhere she is happy to say hello to people. For example, when we go to the dog park she prefers being with the people than other dogs. Its cute when someone is not paying attention and she jumps up next to them, their total expression changes on their face. She can make any bad day turn better. Thats another great thing about dogs. No matter how down you feel they will try to make you feel better and distract you. They are the best medication in my opinion.
Princess has a special spot on my right arm. Yes, a tattoo of her pretty face will go there in a few years. After graduation I plan on spending as much time as I can with her. That is the annoying part about school. I cant have her with me. I would love to take her on a roadtrip with me one day. It would be a fun experience for both of us. Anyways, I could go on and on about Princess but I mainly explained why she is my best friend. She is just so special to me and its not everyday you come across a dog like her! I actually have a question for you all. Have you had a pet that stood out from the others? A pet that no other could compare to? Princess and I would like to know.
