So, guess what. I found a new hobby. Cooking! I made dinner tonight for my mom and I. Guess what I made. I made tortellini soup with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was yummy and my mom loved it. Definitely good for the cold I have right now. I am going to start cooking more. Make different dinners for my mom and I since she is not a big fan of cooking and she works hard. Time to start reading recipes and watching the food channel. Chef Anna is here! What would you like me to cook?
So, my mom and I spent the day in the city but not to see a Broadway show. We went to a fancy restaurant in Brooklyn to celebrate my god mother’s birthday. Her birthday isnt today but we had a little celebration before the big day. It was great because I love my god family and we dont see them often.
The restaurant is under the Brooklyn Bridge which is a spectacular sight.
The restaurant had wonderful food. We ate brunch there and it was delicious. I had a salad as the appetizer and pancakes as the meal. After that there was delicious desserts like this bridge cake. Isnt it cool?
This looks a lot like a postcard photo but I love it. Just captures the great city and the Brooklyn Bridge. Look at that water! It looks so rough and cold. Definitely a picture perfect place though.
Like my outfit? I bought it for this special day because I had no nice clothes for a fancy restaurant. It made me look like a lady. My mom and I had a great time seeing wonderful friends in the city. I cant wait until we see them again. Happy birthday Susie!
The seasons are changing and the cool air is coming. I may not be ready for the change but you cant stop nature. Its okay because cold weather means hoodies and I love hoodies! I cant say I dont like Fall. I love Fall. One of my favorite seasons for taking photos. Especially, with all the different colors the scenery looks extra beautiful! I took Princess and Lady for a nice long walk today in the park. They loved it and so did I. There was a nice breeze and the air was cool which makes for perfect walking weather. Its sad to say goodbye to Summer but luckily Fall makes Winter worth it.

School has started here for most kids and seeing my neighbors start high school is crazy. To me they seem so young and little even though some of them are taller than me. Except, being taller than me is not hard to do. As I look back I remember wondering how I would feel about not going back to school when it started. Well, I am not sad about it but I am feeling exactly as I knew I would feel. The feeling of, what the f*** am I going to do with my life now?
Who am I? Dont worry I know my name but I never really knew who I am. As I look in the mirror I never liked what I saw. Okay, that’s the worse example ever because I never liked my looks. Yeah thats right, if I was rich I would go get surgery to become the perfect puppet of our culture. Anyways, I could do it like in the movies and just drive or go away until I find myself but their is no guarantee that will work. Maybe I could do a math problem to figure it out but who am I kidding? I hate math so that wouldnt work. There has to be more to me besides my name.
Do I have a purpose? With all the chances I have been given in this world there must be one. I use to think everyone had a purpose but I am not sure. There are so many people without one in this world. People who wander around like zombies. I guess they havent found one yet or they have given up on looking. I will find my purpose or purposes somehow someway. Its really about making your purpose.
Where do I start? Starting is the biggest challenge. Its hard to know where exactly to start but is there really a wrong place to start? Starting anywhere seems better than starting nowhere. Exploring is always an idea. Finding where I belong. Where I will shine. Where my heart is.
Can I do this? Wouldnt it be great if I could say yes with confidence but all I can say is I think so. I will definitely try. I am unstoppable once I can do something.
Am I ready? I am ready to live but not ready for life.
So, it may take me longer than a lot to get my grips on life but I will slowly get there. I got the car which will help me get out there and explore. Just gotta build my motivation, self esteem and confidence. Have to find out whats out there for a unique gal like me. I have to create myself. Once I am created, world watch out!
Today was beautiful and nice and cool. It was in the 70s all day and sunny. A perfect day to do one of my favorite things. Can you guess what it is? Driving around in Baby Blue with Princess. I am a driving addict and Princess doesnt mind at all.

Its been really hot here for the past couple of days. I been drinking lots of water and keeping my air conditioner on most of the time. Its suppose to cool down though. Since its so hot I thought I would share some lake photos I took awhile ago of kids jumping off the diving board.

Did you know I haven’t gone swimming once in the lake this year? Its not that I don’t like swimming. I do very much but I have to be in a swimming mood for me to go in to the water. My favorite places to swim are lakes and oceans. Pools are okay but I am not the biggest fan of them. So, instead of swimming I took photos of people enjoying the lake this summer.
