This is probably my favorite photo that I took yesterday of the pear tree. The composition is awesome and it has a nice soft feel to it. Kind of like it shows the fragile side of nature. Anyways, I am spending most of my day fooling around with photos. So, I decided to convert my pear photo to black and white to see how it looks. It came out nicely. Even though I do prefer the color one I do like the black and white one also. What do you think?
Every year the little pear tree in our front yard grows more pears each year. Except, we never get to eat them. Why? Because the greedy but cute squirrels always take them before they are big enough to eat. This year is different though. We still have all the pears and they are almost ready to eat. Where are the squirrels? It was a mystery for a little but I put my brain to work and figured it out. We havent filled the bird feeders in the backyard for months which attracted squirrels. Which means they probably moved on to other areas. Arent I brilliant? So, now we got lots of pears on our tree. Lucky us.
Dont they look yummy? I bet they will be juicy soon. Pears are so delicious. Anyone want one or two? Maybe I will share with the squirrels. Take some for myself and leave the rest for the outside critters. Keep the rain and sun coming and make these pears big!
Trees are so magnificent. Tall, strong and beautiful all at the same time. This earth would not be the same without them. I like trees but let me tell you my mom loves trees. She could never live in a place with no trees. I think she would go crazy. Hehe. What is your favorite type of tree? Mine are dogwood trees but weeping willows are right behind. The photo above is the dogwood tree in our front yard. As you can see it blooms wonderful pink flowers in the spring time. I guess dogwoods are also my favorite because look what word it has in it. Dog!
Oh, did I tell you I taught Oliver a new trick?! Well, I did. Guess which one. Rollover. He is so smart! Let me tell you. It only took me, with pupperoni in my hand and a happy attitude to get him to accomplish it. He learned it in just a few minutes. A few minutes! He is brilliant. I bet I could teach him so much more. The only problem is he gets distracted so easily and he is always bouncing around. Always! Especially, if I have food in my hand or a toy. Its a challenge but I actually wanna teach all three dogs more tricks. They know a lot already but they can learn a lot more.
As you can see. I am surrounded by Callie and Princess when I am sleeping but I would not change it for anything. Callie likes to sleep above my head or near my feet most of the time. When she is not sleeping she is causing some sort of trouble. As for Princess, she sleeps next to me on her pillow. Yes, she has a pillow. Well, its mine but since I only need one I let her use the it. If she is not next to me I am holding her in my arms. She is my best sleeping medicine. Except, she sleeps on the floor when its warm because she starts making her clucking noise. Yes, a clucking noise. I will have to record it one day. Anyways, arent they cute together? Callie enjoys being around the dogs and I am glad Princess tolerates her.

I cant believe its already Sunday night. Almost Monday morning. Time goes too fast sometimes. It would be nice if it was just Saturday night but sadly Monday is tomorrow. Monday. Ugh. Im dreading it. It is suppose to be in the sixties tomorrow which is not too bad. I wont be too cold. Just put my hoodie on and I will be okay. My hoodie is my best friend. Hehe. Oh wait. No its not. Music is my best friend.
Its been a fine Sunday. Did not do much. Did some research for a History paper and just hung out at home. I watched Desperate Housewives with my mom which was nice. Eh, we get along. Most of the time. Hehe. Mothers job is to annoy. Its what they are good at. Haha. Anyways, like the photo? Its a nice fall photo I took yesterday in the country. Well, I am going to relax and play that funky music. Dance in my chair and talk to people. Its what I do best. Well, besides photography. Stay warm and enjoy the fall. My mother and I went up to Sussex County today. The weather was not great but we wanted to go to the community college open house that was going on. It was interesting to see the college. I never been to a college before so it was cool to experience the feeling. Maybe it will be the college I will go to or maybe it wont. I want to check out a few others around. See which one has the best selection of classes that I can take. The hardest part is to decide what to take to major in. Overall, I liked the college. Plus, its in my favorite county.
Besides the rain and wind the weather was not too bad. It was definately not as cold as I expected it to be. Luckily the rain was on and off. I got some nice fall photos in the country like the one above. This is at the lake our cabin is at. The leaves up there were gorgeous. Just bold oranges and reds. I could not resist taking photos. The beauty of fall. The season of color.

Fall is beautiful but it sure can be cold. Its been chilly here. Sad thing is their were a few flurries of snow earlier. So not ready. Go away snow. Do not come back for a long time. Maybe a few months. Brr. I am cold. Time to put on some heat and curl up in a warm blanket with some chocolate. Sounds good to me.

Its been cold here but with nice sunny skies. I am not complaining yet. Amazingly I have not put the heat on in my room today. My mom would be happy if I froze to death with no heat all winter. She expects me to layer clothes. Is she crazy. That will get too heavy. I can survive in a tank top, a sweatshirt and jeans all winter. Crazy me.

Ah, anyways I am happy because I have no school tomorrow. Woot. Another day of relaxation and oh yea do some homework. I just noticed today that the leaves are starting to change colors. Fall is more visual everyday. Green leaves are starting to turn red, orange and brown. Soon they will be falling too. It means I will keep my camera by my side to capture the beauty of fall. The seasons are spectacular here in Jersey. Just one of the parts of New Jersey that I enjoy. Even though I am not a fan of winter it is always nice to experience the change.
Its Friday! I am happy. Four day weekend. Yippy. Lots of time to do stuff besides school. Yay! Maybe take a long bicycle ride or take my dogs on a nice long walk. I definitely need to clean my dogs and get the fleas off them. Going to wash them thoroughly with Dawn dish soap. It works I heard. Going to see how it works on my dogs. Lets home it solves the whole flea problem so my dogs dont suffer anymore.
