Senior year coming to a close

I cant believe tomorrow is my final day in high school. The last day I will walk through that school as a student. I remember at the beginning of the year I thought the end would never come. Now, its just a few hours away and I just have memories flashing by me. Time doesnt slow down but I just wish it could for the last day. I am excited to graduate and be done but I am sad and scared at the same time.

Senioritis Is On The Rise

As the last quarter of the school year begins the seniors are starting to get antsy. The time seniors start to procrastinate more and less motivated. Funny thing is I was more like that last quarter. This quarter I want to do well because it is the very last chance that I can. Plus, all of my big tests are soon. In my technical school that I go to in the afternoon, I have my small animal care test on Monday. It is going to be a hundred multiple choice questions and I am studying for it (amazing). Woot! To me that is the most important test to pass since its my passion and love.

The days feel longer and longer but graduation is just around the corner. In my main school that I go to in the morning, all the seniors got their height measured for graduation. I wonder how many guys are close to my height in my grade. I know there are a lot of tall guys but there are also a few shorties. Hehe. Interesting thing is I am not the shortest one in my grade! Anyways, I am going to relax and then get some sleep in a little since school is still in session. I hope everyone is having a nice week and look! The week is almost over already. Peace.

Dementia!!!

My Grandma is one tough lady! So, we have known a long time ago that she suffered from dementia but just recently has it taken a big effect on her life. Beware if my grandma is in her demented upset mood do not get in her way because she might just hit you with her walker. Since her dementia has gotten to the red zone, where she doesnt know there is something wrong with her and she is being violent, we decided that the best choice for her was to send her to a hospital to help get her on some medication. It will help calm her anxiety and hopefully decrease her dementia without taking her spirit away. So, the next few weeks we will see how it all goes. Luckily, she still knows me and my mom but thinks her husband is alive. Let me just say with a disease like dementia you cant just be upset about it and let it bring you down. Yeah, it is sad to watch but it is something you just got to laugh at the stories she tells you because it is one of the best ways to cope with the situation.

Remembering 2009

Its time to say goodbye to 2009 and welcome 2010. Even though 2009 is coming to a close there are events that will never be forgotten. Every year has its ups and downs but its the up parts that are worth remembering. I thought I would share and refresh your memory of some of the grand events of the year of 2009.

One memory of 2009 is turning 18 years old. The one age all teenagers seem to be so excited for. Why? I have a few ideas. It is considered the age of maturity and being a grown up. Except one thing. Age is just a number and it is not who you are. Another reason is because it is the legal age that we teens can move out from our parents and be free. I told myself I would end up doing that when I am 18 but did not happen and I have no regrets. Living on your own at such a young age is way too hard so I am thankful to be with my mom.

Another memory which was very exciting was becoming a senior in high school. The last year of school I have to do. Unless I decide to go to college or something but its the last I got to be stuck in torture. That leads to the main reason why I am excited for 2010. Graduation!!!

There is one memory that is my all time favorite of 2009. Do you think you know what it is? If you have read my blog for a long time you should know or maybe know. It has to be Callie. Having her part of the family is the greatest memory of the year. She is full of life and just a joy to have. I am glad I fell in love with her and scooped her up into my arms.

I hope you all have a lovely and fun new year and make a lot of great memories in 2010. Celebrate and shoot those fireworks high in the sky. Bye bye 2009 and hello 2010!

Power Outage

Oliver CloseupHello. How is everyone on this late Thursday night? Mine has been interesting. Lets see, where do I start. Well, the power went off around four-thirty. So my mother and I had some cold food for dinner which was not too bad since it was really hot out today. Then we went to see my grandma which is always nice. After that we went to Barnes & Noble and jokingly made funny stories up of people. It was really fun and humorous. When we finished that we came home. The power was on when we got home but sadly it went off a few minutes later. Dammit! So then my mom and I took the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood. After that I just laid in bed and all of a sudden it came back on. Woohoo! I hope it doesnt go back out. It is nice to be able to see and use the internet. I do not think I will make it by twelve.

I have my senior photo tomorrow which will be fun fun fun! Then my mother, the dogs and I are going up to the cabin til Tuesday. I will hopefully be able to still borrow the internet up there.

Well, this post is a few minutes past Thursday but that is not my fault. Blame the stupid power outage. I do hope you like the photo of Oliver’s cute nose and mouth. He is such a cutie! One of my favorite photo subjects are my dogs. They have such great expressions and markings. Hope you all had a nice Thursday and I will talk to you all later today. Stay cool and Peace.

Spotty Leg

Oliver Spotted LegHowdy everyone! Its been stormy here all day. Sinuses have been hurting me but I have been surviving. I just been hanging out taking it easy. Listening to music on blip.fm, surfing the net and doing chores. I cleaned Lady’s ears today since one was really gross and filled with crap. Then I washed her because she had not been washed in awhile and was getting a little on the smelly side. We all know she is a Lady so she needs to be as clean as possible.

My mother trimmed my hair today because it was getting really long, too many dead ends and just with an inch or two off makes me cooler. Also, I am getting my senior photo taken Friday which is going to be fun fun fun. Not really but it will be be nice to know that I am finally a senior and getting my last school photo taken. Woohoo!

Look, its Oliver. That is his front leg with his adorable black spots. He is very unique looking with his adorable black spots all over him and his big black spot over his eye. He is the cutest! I like this photo. It is not a wow photo but it is still a nice photo in my opinion. What do you think of it?

Well folks, thats all for tonight. I hope you enjoyed the spots. I am going to chillax, listen to music, talk to peeps and surf the net until I pass out. Stay safe. Be happy. Live. Laugh. Love. Peace Out. Oh, by the way, do not forget to enjoy life and live every day to the fullest. Peace.
