Snowy Sunday Romp

It snowed all day yesterday which gave us 3-5 inches of beautiful white snow to play in. Lets just say the dogs had a blast romping around, while I froze my tush off. Since the dogs felt like running and jumping through the snow I grabbed my camera and starting photographing the acttion…

There goes Oliver starting the playtime by getting lady to chase him. Look at that boy jump!

Lady is the least fond of snow so she just plays for a few minutes and then stands on the porch to watch. Doesnt she look cute in the christmas collar?

Oliver just kept jumping over that branch as if it was no difficulty. He would be so good at agility if he could keep focus for more than a second.

Oliver zooming by to see how fast he can go. Go Oliver go!

The opponent… Princess.

Oliver takes his jumping moves all over her. She stands strong.

Princess tries to bring Oliver to the ground. She fails.

Next, Oliver turns and slows down the Princess with his skilled moves.

Since Princess is middle aged the two opponents decided to take a quick break together before turning against each other.

Look at that messy snowy face he has. Thats a face of fun.

Before going after Princess Oliver decided to see if Lady wants to join in…she refuses.

Now look at Princess’ face. She is showing off all the snow on her face. She wants to win the contest of most snow on face. You win girl!

Oliver trying to shove Princess out of the way because he thinks he has the better singing voice. I will let Lady decide on that one.

Oliver got what he wanted. He got Princess after him again. The challenge is back on.

Both standing strong. Who will take out who?

The race is on. Run!

Ah, and Princess won the race! Dont worry Oliver there is always next time.

Playground Princess

It was freezing today but that did not stop Princess and I from going to the school playground near my house. I took my camera and camcorder, which means I got a few photos and video clips. There was no one there so we had it all to ourselves and got some important bonding time. Princess and I definitely need to go on more adventures together.

Chills of Winter

Cold, cloudy skies and the smell of winter means it will be here soon. Its coming in quickly and I am not ready for it. I do not wear real winter clothes. A t-shirt, a hoodie and jeans is what i mainly wear. That is probably why I get cold all the time but I do not like long sleeve shirts and heavy jackets. The best thing about winter is its great to snuggle up with a warm dog when you are chilly. Princess sleeps on the bed with me so whenever I wake up cold I just grab her and hold her in my arms. She is so warm and her fluffy hair is coming back too.

So, I am not a big fan of winter. I prefer the spring and summer but I can survive it. The cool air does feel nice at times. Just keep the snow away for a little longer. I am not ready to shovel quite yet. Maybe I will make a snow man this year if there is enough snow to. Before I go I have a question to ask. Do you like winter and why or why not? Hope you all had a lovely Wednesday and stayed warm and cozy. Make some hot chocolate and snuggle up in a nice blanket or with a warm dog. Peace.

Bath Day

I spent most of my Saturday bathing the dogs. Killing the pesky fleas and making them smell good. The faces they gave me were so sad and cute at the same time that I could not resist grabbing my camera and photographing them. For your information they were not very fond of me for the rest of the day. Well, until it was dinner time and they became all lovey dovey. Dogs…gotta love them!

Dogs Are Inspiration

There is a lot in life that inspires me to move forward and try to succeed. But dogs inspire me the most. With their eyes, expressions and just their passion to live in the day keeps me going. Princess who is in the photo above is my main guide in life. Thats my girl. The one I can hug hug hug and she will just stay where she is until I feel better. She has a lot of patience and that to me is very important in life. I use to be very impatient. At least when I was younger. I would go nuts if I did not get food in my stomach as soon as I was hungry. I may still be upset if I do not eat for a long time but I can wait now. I can sit in a restaurant and not throw utensils around and draw on walls. Okay, I never drew on walls when I was hungry but it sounded like something I would do if I had a crayon in my little hands.

Speaking of food and being hungry, here is the Lady. Food freak of the pack. She inspires me to eat all I can. Just grab anything that is edible. She is right though. You never know when you could be living with no food. Just think of all the poor people in the world who search for a piece of bread everyday and thats how they live their life. She makes me thankful that I have food that I can eat and share with the pack. We take so much for granted in life and dont stop to realize how precious everything we have is.

Ah, its Oliver. The spunky happy pill of the pack. He makes me laugh everyday someway or another. Oliver is such a inspiration to just live. He is so happy and playful. All he wants to do is live life. He takes every chance he can get out there and enjoy life. You all know the energizer bunny. Well, Oliver is the energizer puppy. So, if Oliver could talk to you all he would tell all of you to always have fun no matter how old you are. Live life to the fullest and just go crazy. Well, just not too crazy.

I took these photos of the pooches today. Sun was out for once so I grabbed my camera and took a lot of great photos of the pack. You can see the rest of the photos on my flickr page. There are a lot of new ones because I liked most of them I took today. I hope you do too. Let me know what you think of them and I would also like to know what is your inspirations in life. Everyone has atleast one even if you do not realize it. It could be anything that just inspires you one way or another. Embrace the Weather

Its was gorgeous weather here in Jersey today. I opened my window and the weather was just amazing for fall time. The sun was shining high in the sky with no clouds and the warmth all around. If leaves were not falling from the ground I would of thought it was spring. The beauty of weather.

So today I went on a nice long bicycle ride. Who could resist with beautiful weather that was here today. It is always good to be out and get sun. Vitamin D is important for your body and mind. Lets see. How far did I go. Eh. All the way to the end of the park and back. So, around sixteen miles. Yup. The proof? My sore knees. It was fun though. Seeing all the dogs walking and just great exercise. I always feel good after a bicycle ride.

Hehe. I took these two photos of Princess today. She was laying on a towel and I just could not resist wrapping her all up in it. She looked like she was in a cocoon for a dog. Princess is such a patient girl. Lets me do anything to her. Really though, she loves the attention. I love my girl.

Anyways, overall it was a nice four day weekend I had. Could not complain. Especially, if I get off school. Hehe. So, I saw two colleges this weekend, spent time with my mom and went on a nice long bicycle ride. Its been fun but now its soon over. Sadly there is school tomorrow. I am ready. Ready to put on my learning cap and act smart. I do hope all of you had a nice weekend. If you had nice weather also I hope you got out. Embrace the good weather before its gone. Well, its time for me to relax. Listen to some music and surf the internet until I get sleepy. Peace.

Happy Halloween

If you came over today you would of seen a ghost, devil, batman and a cinderella run by. Kids coming by with big smiles on their faces and carrying bags that look two times heavier than they are. Candy flying in every direction and wrappers all over. Our candy did not last long. That is also because we leave the candy out in a basket because of our crazy dogs. Kids come up and just take a handful. I bet the devil took it all. Hehe. I love Halloween because I can collect lots of snickers and reeses. So yummy! What is your favorite Halloween candy?

Princess and I enjoyed Halloween together. She and I went on a long walk, collecting candy together. I did not dress up but Princess did. I sprayed her with pink spray all over. She kinda gave me an evil look when I was done but she knew it would bring attention to her. Then before we went out I put on her dress and hat. She went out with style. Princess was a crazy Princess for Halloween. It sure made people look and lots of people wanted to pet her. She loved that. Miss attention stealer. If you have pets. What did you dress them up as?

Overall, it was a great Halloween. Spending time with Princess is always a plus to me. I bet her little paws got tired. Lucky her. Now she is curled up on my bed sleeping. Spoiled but she deserves it. Anyways, it is time to play some good music and hang out til I decide sleeping looks good. I hope everyone had a fun Halloween and ate some candy. Boo!

Character Cat

Callie. She sure is a character. The spunky tortie cat. Just loves to get all active before I go to sleep. Keeps me up with all the sounds she makes running and jumping around. Sometimes I am almost sound asleep and she makes some kind of big noise and I jump almost out of my bed. Its pretty funny. I may get a little annoyed but I always smile after. She always has a way to make my room look extra messy. Its already messy but she makes it look so much worse. Haha.

Poor Princess. She has been having some kind of bladder problem lately. Been getting up sometime in the night and makes mom let her out in the backyard. Tonight, my mom discovered that their was a huge puddle on her bed where Princess was lying. Princess never ever peed lying down before. I am thinking about taking her to the vet to see whats going on with her bladder. Maybe its an urinary infection or its just she is aging. Hope it is nothing too serious. She is my special girl. She gets special care.

Anyways, as you see the photo is of Callie. The character cat. Hehe. Ah, well I am tired. Waking up early is so hard. Once I am asleep I do not like waking up. I am a night owl. Not a morning person. Especially, when the mornings are all dark and cold. I hope everyone had a pleasant Tuesday. I am going to relax and pass out unless Callie wants to goof around. Peace.

Gotta Have Love

Love is so important to our survival. You can deny it as much as possible that you dont need love to make you happy and to help you survive but you are lying to yourself. I use to always deny that you needed love until I accepted it into my life. I am not just talking about love from people. Animals give lots of love also. My dogs cover me in love. All they express is love love love.

For example, when I come home from a day that was not so great, my dogs are waiting to express their love to me. If that means snuggling with them, giving them treats or walking them. It is all love. Just the connection I have with them is all the love I need in the world.

Never forget that their is always someone out there who loves you. Even if you do not realize it. It could be a person or animal. Also, make sure to keep your heart open to accept love and give love. Giving love is just as important as recieving it. Showing people you love them will help them love you back. Do not just take it. Give it. Give it with your heart.

Anyways, hope you all had a love filled day. Mine was a boring but an alright day. Like the photos? Its my Mom, Princess and Oliver. They love to snuggle with each other. Time to relax and get some sleep. Atleast the week is almost over. I am going to listen to some music and slowly pass out. Stay happy and filled with love. Peace.

Beauty of Red

It was mad windy here today.  So windy that I could of blown away since I am fun size. Luckily my two feet stayed grounded on earth. We should all be thankful for gravity.

I just love this photo that I took a long time ago. I do not remember when or where but just edited it tonight. It is a red tulip I think. The lighting is lovely. What do you think of this photo? Do you like it? Any criticism? Share your lovely thoughts with me. Oh, since its Halloween month I am going to try to get some good Halloween and Fall photos. Thats my assignment for myself this month.

Anyways, how was everyones day? Anything interesting happened? Not here. Same old same old. Day went by like always. After school I took Princess for a bicycle ride. This man pulled up in his pickup truck and is like telling me how I should slow down because my dog has small legs and my bicycle has big tires. To myself I am like well I am not going to push my dog if she does not like it. Sheesh. Its alright he was just informing me on something I know a lot about. Anyhow, Princess loved it. If she did not enjoy it and seemed like it wore her out too much I would not do it but she enjoys the exercise.  So, moving on. I am going to relax my muscles and then get some sleep.
