Starting off the 365 day photo challenge with a photo of my baby girl, Daisy.

My Dogs

Spring fluff

Spring is finally here and the dogs are just as excited as I am. Princess is excited to chase the chipmunks and squirrels around. Lady is enjoying all the available water to drink out of pots and Oliver just loves romping around. The only thing is they are massively fluffy from winter but they will be groomed soon. Here are some photos of the pack enjoying the backyard when the snow went away.

Lady “Did I feel a rain drop?”

Oliver “Do you like my own personal uggs?”

Princess “Did you see which way that squirrel went?”

Callie

Wheres your collar Callie?

Jingle jingle jingle. Thats the sound I use to hear when Callie was prowling around my room. Now, there is no sound except the sound of her little feet running across the floor. Let me tell you, she can sound like an elephant charging when she is hyper. Callie is an expert on taking her collar off. We went through about three already. I find them laying on the ground and broken. I guess she still considers herself a wild kitten. Nothing can hold this fierce cat back. Meow!

The devil got inside my dog

Princess is a perfect angel when she is awake but when she is in a deep sleep the devil comes to visit.

Cats

Adopt Anna…the cat!

As you all know I am a big supporter of Petfinder, since that is where I found my wonderful dogs. Today, I came across this beautiful gray and white cat. No, I am not adopting this sweet girl. I am a one cat home but her name caught my eye. A cat named Anna. Not something you see everyday. So, I decided to give her a little post to help her find a home. If you live in Georgia, maybe you have room in your heart to give her a forever home. Check out Anna, but just beware her name is Anna which means she may be crazy like me.

Princesssss

Princess got lots of attention today from me but its not the kind she likes very much. First, she got groomed because her hair was coming back and with the heat she was just way too hot. Shaved down her body and legs but just trimmed up her face and tail. After getting groomed she got a bath. She was not happy about that. Just look at the photo above. Doesnt she look annoyed? Maybe more like pissed off, but she is such a loyal girl that she just stands there waiting for the torture to be done with.

All sprawled out on the couch after the bath. She looks like a bullet.

I think she is mad at me…

Look it! Its my little fuzzy wuzzy.

Either she is trying to be invisible so I dont torture her more or she is embarrassed with her haircut.

She isnt in a smiling mood but she is still kissable!

Princess is tired of photos but I just couldnt resist. Look at her cute little legs!

Thats Princess’ eyelash and eyeball. She has beautiful long eyelashes and big emotional eyes.

Did you enjoy those? I did! I havent taken photos of my girl in awhile. I never take enough photos of her, Lady or Oliver. As you look at Princess, cant you see that she is an angel in dog form? A human in a dog body? Well, she is my angel. Many may say she is just a dog but she is much more than that. She is my best friend, my sidekick, my hero, my angel, my life and everything else. You may own a hundred dogs in your lifetime but there is usually one that touches your heart the most. Ive never understood how people could favor one dog over the others. Until, the Princess walked into my life. I mean you will never see or hear me talk about how she is my favorite and make it sound like I dont love the other dogs. I adore my other dogs. They are all special to me but Princess is just extra special.

family Lady

My father is my mother

First off, I want to wish all the fathers out there a happy fathers day. I hope you got your lawnmower, toolbox or alone time that you wanted. If not then what did you get?! As you all know my mom is my dad all in one. Isn’t that neat? Its pretty sweet. I do like the rare species in life. Anyways, I do not celebrate Father’s Day. I am perfectly happy with just my mom. Except, it would be nice to have a man around sometimes. Like when we put a chandelier up in the dining room. My mom can get the lights on but couldn’t turn them off. Also, when we had piping explode in the bathroom and we had to call an emergency plumber late at night. Now those are some memories we just laugh about now. How about when a boy wants to take me out on a date? A father would be good to scare them so much that they pee in there pants so they will be a gentleman. And if you plan on taking my mom on a date, I better approve you first. Also, she must be home by twelve! No sooner and no later. Hehe.

The William Wegman Princess Project

A few days ago I had to finish a photography project for my photo class at school. The project was to photograph like a professional photographer and I chose William Wegman. You must know his work. He is the guy who photographs his weimeraners in clothes and make them have human characteristics. His dogs have been in books, galleries and on television.

I chose Princess as my model since she is most cooperative and has the most patience. Besides trying to lay down all the time she was a very good girl. Here are a few photos of her that are some of my favorite. I took so many and the rest will be on my flickr. To me she is better than the weimeraners but that is also because she is my Princess.

Callie

Cone Head Callie

Big news about Callie cat! She got spayed yesterday. My mom dropped her off at the vet yesterday morning and we picked her up this morning. Let me tell you, my room was really quiet last night without a wild cat running and jumping around. Peaceful but weird at the same time. Hehe. Anyways, she is back home now, with a cone on her head. Now two animals in this family have the cone of shame. Well, Lady will be able to have hers off soon. Callie has to keep hers on for at least ten days or more but she is doing pretty good surprisingly. Well, until she is back to herself than she might really not like it. I will have to give her some pain medicine soon but for now she can stay sleeping on my bed. Spoiled cat! I am happy the surgery went well and she is back home. Now, I am just going to enjoy the calm Callie before she turns back into her mischievous self. Meow!
