Shaggy Lady

Hello. Hope everyone had a nice Thursday so far. Mine was good. Did nothing much except chores around the house and chilled out. There was some sun today but mostly clouds and rain. Luckily, I do not have a sinus headache today.

My mom is taking off tomarrow and we are going up to the cabin for a three day weekend. It will be nice and the weather is suppose to be nice atleast on Saturday. I will definitely bring my camera up there like usual and I will get some photos if there is any nice weather.

On the radio today I heard that Daughtry’s new album, Leave This Town, is finally available. I am so excited! Daughtry is amazing and I already know I like the song “No Surprise” from their new album. My mother said if she can she will get the album to listen to in the car tomorrow on the way up to the cabin. If not I will definitely get it one of these days.

As you can tell in this photo Lady is very shaggy and fluffy. Tomorrow up at the cabin she is going to get shaved down. I did not get to it today so I must do it tomorrow. She needs her summer haircut and also she is hot. Plus she has mats all over that definitely need to come off. Lady is going to feel like velvet after being groomed and she is going to look so beautiful. Do you like this photo? I took this photo a few days ago. It was in color but I did not like it so I converted it to black and white. Let me know what you think.

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice start of the week. I did which always is good. It was nice weather out so I went outside and took some photography of flowers, plants and my dogs. Did my daily chores, walked the dogs, listened to music and just enjoyed the day. Sadly, the weather is suppose to get icky in the next few days which means my sinus headaches going to come back but I will survive them. I am enjoying summer. Lots of time being with my dogs and I am enjoying no school. I am happy though that I am finally a senior! Which means last year of school forever unless I decide to go to college. I have not decided yet. I will have to see where my life takes me or where I take my life.

I was sitting at my kitchen table earlier on my laptop and i looked outside the door window and saw an American Goldfinch flying around in the backyard. They are such beautiful birds. If you did not know the American Goldfinch is New Jersey’s state bird.

I decided I need to start taking photos everyday. There is so much to photograph and the only way I will get better is practice. So I am going to get myself out there everyday unless its raining.

Look! Its Oliver! I took this photograph today outside in my backyard in the lovely weather. Oliver was just laying on the porch watching me take photos because he is such a curious little boy. So I turned the camera to him and took a few shots of his cute face. He has such a great black spot that makes him so unique looking. When I was out there I took a whole set of photos of my dogs but really I only kept three or four of my favorites. The others weren’t good enough to me. Beautiful Saturday

Howdy everyone. Its been a beautiful Saturday which is great. This morning we came up to the cabin and dropped off the two photos for the state fair photo contest. Do not worry I have the photos ready to share with you soon. It is lovely up here and I am happy. Not too hot and with blue clear skies. Thier is a perfect breeze blowing through the trees right now. I do not have a sinus headache anymore and I am feeling good overall.

Since it was lovely weather today I just had to spend some time outside. I took a few photos of flowers and my mother I need to edit still. Besides that I walked the dogs and then relaxed in my room working on some social media things on the internet. Tonight for dinner my mom and I went to Friendly’s for dinner and I had my usual chicken strips basket that was so yummy. Now I am home and chillin and surfing the net. My poor Princess is still in pain with her hurt foot but she still wants to chase those cats.

Isn’t this a great photo? I do not remember where I took this flower but I think it was in my mom’s garden. Anyways, its such a great photo and I hope you enjoy it. TGIF!

I know everyone is excited that it’s Friday and I you should be. My friday was long and slow. Not like I did anything but last night I had a really bad sinus headache and I could not sleep. I was up the whole night and today. I could of passed out a few hours ago but I did not want to waste the day sleeping. I am so thick headed and stubborn. Anyways, besides that I did chores around the house and worked with social media stuff on the computer. That was my exciting Friday.

Tomarrow morning my mom, the dogs and I are going up to the cabin. On the way there we are dropping off two photos I took for a photo contest at the State Fair in August. I will make a post with the two photos that I entered into the contest soon. Another thing is I have not started either of the two blogs yet. Maybe I will do that this weekend at the cabin if I can still “barrow” internet up there. I think for the social blog I am gonna call it aivztech. I mean yea its not like a simple title but it represents me. I am stick thinking and always taking more ideas.

Like the photo? Its my special girl Princess. Look at that adorable big pink nose she has. I love her so much. She was on my bed and I did a whole set of her but this was really the only one I liked. Yes, I am very picky with photos. I can take a hundred photos and only keep ten. Just the way I am. Which is not bad when it comes to photography because all I want is the best. Hosta Wednesday

So, this Wednesday has been going pretty well. Its a sunny clear day. This morning I woke up with Princess next to me which was lovely since she usually sleeps under my bed during the summer. She probably was on my bed because I groomed her yesterday so she does not have as much hair as she use to. Poor girl but she is looking good still.

After a little while from waking up I took my usual long bicycle ride on the path through some parks I am near. It takes about two hours total to go from my house to the end of the path and back again to my house. Its probably around 20 miles I bike ride. My mother got this little gadget to track how many miles I go but we haven’t attached it yet to my bicycle. It was a good ride. Not too many people out on the path because its during the week. I got home and felt refreshed and relaxed.

Summer is going well. Not a very hot summer yet but that is fine with me. Its hot but not mad hot. The weather is not bad. Some serious thunderstorms but mainly lovely weather.

The photo of these hostas was taken awhile ago but just opened it and edited it. Isnt it lovely?

Its amazing how lovely nature is. Just so beautiful and free. So many interesting plants to photograph and enjoy. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and I will post again soon with more photos. Peace.

Cabin dogs Lady My Dogs

Right now I am up at the cabin and luckily I can still “borrow” my neighbors wifi which is awesome. Friday and Saturday were rainy with a little sun but today the sun is shining high in the sky. I took some photos yesterday before it started raining but I think I might take some more today. Also, I am going to walk run around the lake with Oliver. He loves that and it tires him out which is always good. Princess and Lady had a walk around the lake with my mom this morning so they are fine. Except, they are going to be upset that I am not taking them also. Too bad girls its Oiver time. That reminds me I still need to groom Princess and Lady. Well, I will do it at home this week.

Like the photo? I love this photo. This photo is Lady in action. Doesnt it look like she is laughing? She is so photogenic. I had this photo stored in my still need to edit photos folder and I was amazed how clear her teeth are. Thats what happens when you have hundreds of photos to edit. You forget what you take and just get stunned when its an amazing photo. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This afternoon we are heading back home. Which means I am going to get some Dairy Queen ice cream on the way. The dogs will enjoy the car ride. I will post again soon. Have a wonderful safe sunday.

Cabin Foods Weekends

An Early Friday Morning

Goodmorning everyone. Its a nice friday morning and right now I am watching a busy squirrel on a wire outside my window. It amazes me how well they can balance on their little feet. I woke up at 6:45 which is rare for a non morning person like me but I am awake and decided to enjoy the morning life. The birds are chirping away all around the house. They sound so lovely and are great singers. I let the dogs out in the backyard and they were surprised that I was the one letting them out instead of my mom. Oliver looks so cute and small with his summer haircut I gave him yesterday. Do not tell my two other dogs but I am bringing the clippers and other grooming supplies with me to the cabin so they can get their summer cuts too.

My mom, our three dogs and I are going to the cabin today for the weekend which will be nice and fun. I am going to take lots of photography and walks with the dogs around the lake. There is a lot more nature out there to photograph and enjoy. I love the country. Filled with wildlife and peacefulness. I will see if I have internet up there. I have been “borrowing” some from one of my neighbors. If I do not have internet up their it will be sad but I will have to wait til sunday evening to post again.

The photo is of a little home made pizza I made last night for myself. It looks good doesn’t it? Well it was really yummy. I can cook some things. Pizza, pasta, soup, pasta, cookies and pasta.

Dog Parks dogs

Curious Boxer

I do not remember exactly when I took this photo but it was awhile ago. I was in the big dog section of the dog park to capture some big dog action with my camera. I remember I was kneeling and this big boxer face came over to me to see what I was doing. I captured a photo of him. It is not the clearest of shots but just look at that face! Boxers are so cute!

Contests Photography

Town Photo Contest 2009

This is the second year my town is having their annual photo contest for teens. I entered it last year with the photo Fun At The Dog Park and won first place. This year I entered the photo above and I am hoping it does well. No photo could ever compare to the one I took last year but that does not stop me from enjoying photography and shooting what interests me. I entered not to just try to win but to show what I can photograph and to have fun. Lets hope the judges like it. I know I do and my mother does. Wish me luck.

Spring

Spring time is here!

Right now I am sitting on the porch at our cabin listening to the birds and neighbors chit chatitng away. My mother is next to me reading a book and listening to neighbors. What a snoop! Really I am the snoop of the family. Plants and flowers are blooming in every direction you look. My three dogs are napping around me. I saw a wild cat that was young and had beautiful markings. It is probably a kitten we saw last year. The cat looked pregnant so there might be kittens soon romping around. I have country music playing on the television. I sure love the country life. It is always wonderful to get away from the busy non stopping life in the suburbs.

The photo is a pear tree at our house. Blooming beautiful flowers and now their are pears all over it. We do not use pesticides so that means bees come around and pollinate the tree. When the pears get bigger the squirrels steal them from us. Those darn squirrels are always so hungry.

Today I will be doing some gardening for my mother. Getting close to nature is always such a wonderful experience. The only thing that makes me shiver are the bees buzzing around me. I hope I do not get stung today.

Its memorial weekend so do not forget to put your flags out. I have mine hanging outside. My grandpa was a veteran of WWII. Also, do not forget all the soldiers out there right now fighting to protect our country. They risk their lives for us.

Enjoy your weekend and look around and appreciate all the things around you.
