Went up to see the cabin to make sure it was still standing after the big snow storm we got this year. Fortunately, it is and soon we will open it up for Summer.

Bye bye fluff

So, I spent my weekend up at the cabin with my mom and the dogs. The weather was great. Not too hot and not too cold. Perfect! My mom planted some trees and put some manure down. Let me tell ya. That stuff was da shit. Hehe. It sure stunk up the car. Almost couldnt breathe. Anyways, I got lots of exercise walking the dogs around the lake and they sure enjoyed it. They always have fun.

Guess what! I got some big news. I have my hands on test tomorrow for small animal care and guess who I am grooming. My girl, Princess! Yes, I am so excited. I get to bring Princess to my technical school tomorrow. Dropping her off in the morning before I go to my main school. She is going to hate me for leaving her in a cage alone until I get there at twelve in the afternoon. But then she is going to even hate me more when I bathe and groom her. I will make sure to give her lots of love and kisses during and after so she forgives me. Woot! I am excited. Dont worry I will show pictures of her all groomed and share with you how it went. Hope you all had a nice weekend and made some memories. I am going to curl up with my girl and get some sleep. Night.

A Hot Country Weekend

So, my mom, the three dogs and I spent the weekend up at the cabin for the first time this year. Lets say it did not start off the way we hoped. Since we do not go up during the winter we turn off the water. When my mom turned the water back on the water heater was pouring out all over the floor. Stuff was getting soaked and the dogs were trying to drink it. It was a hectic but thank goodness for a helpful neighbor who knew how to fix the problem.

High in the Sky

Its been cold here but with nice sunny skies. I am not complaining yet. Amazingly I have not put the heat on in my room today. My mom would be happy if I froze to death with no heat all winter. She expects me to layer clothes. Is she crazy. That will get too heavy. I can survive in a tank top, a sweatshirt and jeans all winter. Crazy me.

The photo was taken yesterday. These trees happily live next to the cabin. Standing tall and going high up in the sky. I like the look of the photo. What do you think? Ah, anyways I am happy because I have no school tomorrow. Woot. Another day of relaxation and oh yea do some homework. Well, right now I am going to surf the big open web and listen to the music that I play always. I hope everyone had a nice Monday and did not freeze. Peace.

I See Pumpkins

Pumpkins everywhere. Pumpkins pumpkins pumpkins. Thats what my mother and I saw today at this great farm in the country. A big field filled with all sorts of pumpkins. It was a great place to take some photos. We came home with a pumpkin ofcourse.

So, today my mom and I went up to the country to close down our cabin for the winter. Just so cold up there during the winter months. We will definitely make some day trips up there. I would like to so I can get some nice country photos. After closing the cabin up we decided to make a fun day so we drove around the country and took some photos at the farm. Then we went to this restaurant place called the Chatterbox. I had a Buckaroo Burger and oh my gosh it was so yummy! It was a burger with bacon and bbq sauce and it was sure delicious. For me to eat a burger it has to be grilled right off the grill or taste like it or I wont like it. I do not usually get burgers from restaurants but it sounded good so I did and I am glad I did. Filled me up.

I took this photo at the farm today. I just liked how it came out. Especially, with the great big sky and the pumpkins on the ground. What do you think? This is just one of many of the photos I took at the ranch. I will share more here in the coming days and I will post the rest on flickr.

Its been a great day with my mom. Always nice to have our good family days together. Lots of laughing and bonding time with each other. Anyways, since I have been away all day I need to catch up on all my internet activity. Hope everyone had a nice Sunday. Maybe you got out and enjoyed the weather or had a good family day. Reflection of Trees

Reflection_of_treesIts getting colder and colder here in Jersey. I am not happy about it either. Please make the warm weather come back. I am missing it. Oh my gosh. Do you wanna know what I heard? Its already snowing in Colorado. Eww. I definately not ready to hear about snow yet. That should not hit us yet for awhile. Hopefully.  Time to turn on the heat and curl up in a blanket.

Tonight my mom and I watched The Office. It is one of my favorite television shows. Just funny and suprising. I am so happy. Pam and Jim got married tonight. it was so sweet and funny. If you watch the show you know who I am talking about. If you do not watch the show I recommend you catch up and start. Its just one of those shows you like it or hate it. You understand it or it confuses it. Ah, I love Thursday night comedy.

Yay, its almost Friday! I have a four day weekend too! Yup. I have Monday and Tuesday off. Monday is Columbus Day and Tuesday is some kind of teachers day. I am excited. Do not really have any big plans yet except for Sunday. We are going to close up the cabin for the winter. My mom and I will make a nice day out of it. Do fun things this weekend. Maybe some clothes shopping. Maybe put more blonde streaks in my hair again. We will see what the weekend brings us.

Reflections. They make some awesome photographs. I took this awhile ago and just love the reflection and composition. What do you think? Anyways, I am going to relax and enjoy the rest of the night before sleeping. Listen to some music and surf the net a little bit. Just relax because I finished my homework. Sunny Sunday :)

flowers Hello, I am home from the cabin. Came home a little while ago and now doing my daily photoblog post. On the way home we stopped for some Dairy Queen and I had a chocolate chip blizzard. Oh it was so good. By the way it was a lovely weekend. Not too hot and it was mostly sunny with just some passing clouds. I did some driving with my mom since I still have my permit. Luckily I did not hit anything or anyone. Overall it was a nice happy weekend.

Now I am just home relaxing, surfing the internet and listening to music. If you want to know what I like to listen to check out my last.fm. I have a vast variety of music I listen to because I am open minded and not picky. Oh, also to share with you all if you know I have twitter and I made a new account just for my photography interest called AnnasAngle. Recognize the name? I chose the name to go with my photoblog. I am so creative. I still need to make those two blogs. That is my goal for tomorrow or this week sometime.

My dogs are all well. I need to groom Lady this week since she is the only one still all fluffy. Plus she has some little mats that need to come out. Princess is still limping a little but since she is using it still I am not too worried. If it continues I might end up taking her to the vet to make sure it will heal properly. Oliver is happy as ever. Just being his bouncy curious self.

Do you like the flowers? I took this photo yesterday along with a few others. I liked how this one came out. The only real part I do not like is the gray road in the background. Besides that I think it came out pretty nice. Please critique and comment your opinions about it. Hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for the week ahead. TGIF!

White Princess NoseI know everyone is excited that it’s Friday and I you should be. My friday was long and slow. Not like I did anything but last night I had a really bad sinus headache and I could not sleep. I was up the whole night and today. I could of passed out a few hours ago but I did not want to waste the day sleeping. I am so thick headed and stubborn. Anyways, besides that I did chores around the house and worked with social media stuff on the computer. That was my exciting Friday.

Tomarrow morning my mom, the dogs and I are going up to the cabin. On the way there we are dropping off two photos I took for a photo contest at the State Fair in August. I will make a post with the two photos that I entered into the contest soon. Another thing is I have not started either of the two blogs yet. Maybe I will do that this weekend at the cabin if I can still “barrow” internet up there. I think for the social blog I am gonna call it aivztech. I mean yea its not like a simple title but it represents me. I am stick thinking and always taking more ideas.

Like the photo? Its my special girl Princess. Look at that adorable big pink nose she has. I love her so much. She was on my bed and I did a whole set of her but this was really the only one I liked. Yes, I am very picky with photos. I can take a hundred photos and only keep ten. Just the way I am. Which is not bad when it comes to photography because all I want is the best. Laughin Lady

Right now I am up at the cabin and luckily I can still “borrow” my neighbors wifi which is awesome. Friday and Saturday were rainy with a little sun but today the sun is shining high in the sky. I took some photos yesterday before it started raining but I think I might take some more today. Also, I am going to walk run around the lake with Oliver. He loves that and it tires him out which is always good. Princess and Lady had a walk around the lake with my mom this morning so they are fine. Except, they are going to be upset that I am not taking them also. Too bad girls its Oiver time. That reminds me I still need to groom Princess and Lady. Well, I will do it at home this week.

Like the photo? I love this photo. This photo is Lady in action. Doesnt it look like she is laughing? She is so photogenic. I had this photo stored in my still need to edit photos folder and I was amazed how clear her teeth are. Thats what happens when you have hundreds of photos to edit. You forget what you take and just get stunned when its an amazing photo. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This afternoon we are heading back home. Which means I am going to get some Dairy Queen ice cream on the way. The dogs will enjoy the car ride. I will post again soon. Have a wonderful safe sunday.

Cabin Foods Weekends

An Early Friday Morning

homemade_lil_pizza Goodmorning everyone. Its a nice friday morning and right now I am watching a busy squirrel on a wire outside my window. It amazes me how well they can balance on their little feet. I woke up at 6:45 which is rare for a non morning person like me but I am awake and decided to enjoy the morning life. The birds are chirping away all around the house. They sound so lovely and are great singers. I let the dogs out in the backyard and they were surprised that I was the one letting them out instead of my mom.  Oliver looks so cute and small with his summer haircut I gave him yesterday. Do not tell my two other dogs but I am bringing the clippers and other grooming supplies with me to the cabin so they can get their summer cuts too.

My mom, our three dogs and I are going to the cabin today for the weekend which will be nice and fun. I am going to take lots of photography and walks with the dogs around the lake. There is a lot more nature out there to photograph and enjoy. I love the country. Filled with wildlife and peacefulness. I will see if I have internet up there. I have been “borrowing” some from one of my neighbors. If I do not have internet up their it will be sad but I will have to wait til sunday evening to post again.

The photo is of a little home made pizza I made last night for myself. It looks good doesn’t it? Well it was really yummy.  I can cook some things. Pizza, pasta, soup, pasta, cookies and pasta.
