New Kitty!

calliekittieGot some big news. Look! I got the cabin kitten I always wanted from the very first second I saw her weeks ago. Isnt she cute? We decided to name her Callie. She is maybe a calico but someone said she might be a tortie which is more rare. I do not know but if you know your cat breeds let me know what you think she is.

How did I get her? Well, I got a long piece of grass and started to play with one of the stray orange cats that hangs around. So along came Callie interesting in the moving object. She started to grab at it and she got closer and closer. When this little kitten was in arms reach I bent down and picked her up. She was little scared at first but she settled down pretty quickly. Right now she is laying next to me on my bed at the cabin. I got a kitty I got a kitty!

Anyways, that is my exciting news. So everyone meet the new member of the family. Callie. You will see more videos and photos of her soon as she gets settled in her home.

It was a good day. Besides getting my kitty my mom and I went to Tractor Supply Company which is my favorite store in the country besides Walmart. After that we went swimming. The water felt so good because it is hot out here. So, I hope everyone else had a good exciting Saturday. I am going to snuggle the kitty a little more and relax. Purreace!

Fridayyy

Lady_Dog_ParkTGIF! Yes, I sure do love saying that. I say that about every Friday. Just another saying of mine that I can not resist. By the way, I dislike Michael Vick. Wow, that was random. Yes, I am a very random person at times. Michael Vick is on my dislike list. I have never heard of him before i started hearing all about the dog fighting he was involved with. Dog fighting is wrong in my opinion. I do not care if you want to argue with me because you can not change my mind about that. It is cruel and painful. Not just the fighting but also the conditions these poor dogs have to live in. Okay, I am done ranting.

So anyways, we came up to the cabin today. It is lovely weather here and suppose to be great this weekend which means I can swim in the lake. It will be lots of fun. I brought up my camcorder to record lots of videos. Today I recorded some so check out my youtube. There are some of my dogs and some cats and kittens. Also, I recorded a video of what I ate for dinner. It was a yummy dinner with lots and lots and lots of protein. Hehe. Here is the vid.

I hope you enjoyed those two videos. I will be recording lots more over time. Maybe, I will start sharing a video with you all with my posts. As for this photo it is of Lady. It was taken a while ago at the dog park in my town. She looks so great and happy in this photo. The light was wonderful. I sure love this photograph of her. What do you all think of it?

Wetland Wednesday

Crane_Bronx_ZooIts been rainy here all day. Rain rain rain! Geez. Please rain go away for a few weeks and come back another time. I want the shining hot sun so I can feel like it is summer and I can be outside more. I had a sinus headache today but its going away. Woohoo!

Did you all hear the news? The sad sad news? Brooks & Dunn are going to go their seperate ways after a 2010 tour. They have been together since 1990 but they decided it was time to end their duo. Brooks & Dunn, I will keep you in my ears and never forget one of the best country duo’s out there.

Okay, my camera situation…I do not feel like talking about the whole story. Just that its stil going to be a little while before I get my camera back. I will survive. I will find other things to do. Maybe, I will write more. Maybe I should share some of my poetry with  you all.

I took this photo a long time ago. It was freshman year in highschool. My biology class went to the Bronx Zoo. I took a few photos there of the great animals. This was one of the cranes. I thought this photo came out pretty nicely. Especially, since I was using a canon point and shoot. That was my first digital camera until that broke and I got my nikon d40. So, what do you think of the shot?

Well, I am going to stay up a little. I need some late nights this summer before I have school and start passing out early. I will be up for awhile surfing the net, listening to some good music and talking to homies. So stay safe and happy. Peace.

Lady Love

Lady_the_beauty_Anna_ZiskIt has been another hot day in New Jersey. Been in the basement most of the day where its cooler than my room. Plus, my mom’s computer is down here so I use it mainly for music and my laptop for my other computer programs. It keeps things moving at a nice speed.

Oh, good news. I started my two blogs I have been telling you I was going to start but kept putting it off. So now I have Social Tech Anna and Dog Dog Doggie running. They are just started but I will get them moving soon. If you have no looked at them yet please do. They soon will be two of the coolest blogs out there just like this one. Yea, you all know this is one of the best.

It is Lady love! Loooook! She is such a sweet faced dog. Just sitting there being patient while I take her photo a hundred times. This was taken awhile ago but one of my favorites. What do you think of this photo of Lady love?

It has been a good day. Maybe I did not do a lot but thats okay. I like my lazy days at times. I would be doing some photography if those idiots gave my nikon back! I swear I am going to send Oliver in there and have him put his smelly poop all over and then see what happens. They will never delay to give my camera back ever again. Smile Its Friday!

LadyHello everyone. Be happy and smile. Its Friday! Today the weather has been wonderful. Clear with just little clouds passing by. Not too hot and with a nice breeze. It was great. I took my bicycle out and road it around. It was so nice I just had to get out and enjoy it before the weather changes to bad again. I am in a good good good mood today. Nice weather always makes me happy and in a positive mood. I did all my chores for the day, did some work on the internet and listened to music all day long. I love music so much. Every mood and emotion is expressed through one song or another. Such great way to express yourself. Alright, I am done drooling about my love for music. Wanna know what I am currently listening to? Well check out my blip.fm. That gives me another blog idea. A music blog filled with all the music I listen to, like and music news. Well, I will see. Already have a list of blogs I need to start.

Anyways, I still do not have my camera back yet but still was able to capture a great picture of the Lady. She is such a beauty and so photogenic even with a camera phone. I love just picking her up and carrying her around as if she was a little dog. She weighs around thirty five pounds. She is not that big but has a big stomach. She will eat and steal anything that smells good and she is not suppose to have. Lady will do anything for food. I really should record more videos of my dogs doing tricks and put them on youtube to share with you all.

Still No Camera

Princess_Car_TrunkHello everybody. How was your thursday? Mine was nice. Except, my mom went to the camera store and they still do not have my camera. They said its still at Nikon. Seriously, its been a freaking week since they told us they accidentally shipped it there. I want my Nikon! Geez. This photographer is lost without her camera. I better get it back soon or hell is going to break loose.

So, I was thinking about careers today and brought up one of my job dreams that I had for a long time. An animal investigator cop like Annemarie Lucas. She is one of my favorite people and one of my greatest animal cops out there in my opinion. She impressed me from the moment I saw her on Animal Precinct years ago on Animal Planet. My mom and other people think I would be great at it because I love animals and I have no problem busting people for cruelty to animals. I will have to see if that is where I want to go with my life. It sure would not be a boring job and lots of action. If I decide I want to go to college and all of that stuff I may just take the animal cop career. One of the many careers in mind.

Since I still do not have my camera I went rummaging through some old photos and this one popped out at me. It is my special girl Princess in the back trunk of my mom’s CR-V. I did a set of car photos with all three dogs seperately and this was one of the best. Especially, with the two dog related car magnets. Princess is a great dog to photograph because she does not move a lot. Such a good girl she is. Princess loves car rides so she had no problem about being in the car. Except, she was probably a little upset we did not go anywhere. So, what do you all think of this picture of my special girl Princess?

Summer Cat Nap

CatnapHello everybody. How was your Tuesday? Mine was nice. Lets see what did I do today. Well, I finally went swimming in the lake. It felt really good. My arms got tired because they are not in shape and I swam out to the raft which is not that close and its in deep water. When I got to the raft I dove off it a few times and then swam back. My legs were fine because they are in shape from bicycling a lot. Overall, it felt really nice to go swimming finally this summer and just good exercise. After that, I relaxed and then we headed home. On the way home we stopped at Dairy Queen and I got a large chocolate chip blizzard which was really yummy. I let my mom finish it because I got way too full. It was just a nice easy day.

I know this photo is not the greatest but it is one of the stray cats that live around our cabin. This guy loves laying on the table and under the chairs. That is his spot. At the cabin we have a lot of stray cats. Right now there is a mom cat with four kittens and they are so cute! They are all orange except one kitten is calico. I want that calico kitten. That kitten is my favorite. All the cats there are really pretty with lovely markings. My dogs go crazy when they see them and just want to chase them around. Princess is the main cat hunter of the pack. She is always on watch from the porch to see if they are around. If I had my camera I would of gotten better pictures of the cats and kittens but I should be getting my camera back this Thursday or Friday.

I hope you enjoyed the photo and post. Right now I am laying in my bed sweating and listening to music. I still have not used my air conditioner this summer and I am not planning to. Do not ask me why I am doing this. I just felt like being stubborn and stupid. Just a wacky thing to do. Well, I will talk to you all soon. I am going to lay in bed, listen to music and surf the web. NJ State Fair

Camel_NJ_State_FairHello everybody! How was your Monday? I do hope you all had a nice day. Mine was fun. Today my mom and I went to the New Jersey State Fair they have every year. It was great and always nice to spend time with my mom. Especially, a positive experience with her. The two photos I entered into the state fair photography contest did not win any ribbons. I was not trying to win anything,  just enjoying doing one of my favorite things. One of the photos was of Oliver and one was of a horses whiskers. To me those two photos are winners and that is all that matters.

One of my favorite things at the state fair is all the animals they have. It was so cute watching a pig race. They ran around, jumped into a pool, swam and then ran to the finish line. So adorable and so small! They also have a big building filled with chickens, roosters, pigeons, ducks, rabbits and other small rodents people have and get ribbons for. They also had awesome Texas longhorns and draft horses that were huge! Also, they had a petting zoo where you can feed the animals with goats, donkeys, ponies, llamas and a camel. What animal was is my favorite there? It is always the goats. Goats are just so cute and I always loved them. I just love all animals. They are just wonderful and great creatures of the earth.

So, overall my mom and I had a nice day. We will be coming home tomorrow. It was a nice nice day. Anyways, do you like this photo? I still do not have my Nikon and I am too thick headed to use the Canon they let me borrow. So, I took this photo with my camera phone today at the fair and it came out pretty nice. it is the Camel at the petting zoo that just looked so cute. Sunny Sun Saturday

PrincessEyeHello. How was everyone’s Saturday going? Mine has been good. It has been a lazy Saturday but nice. At the lake the usual summer Regatta is going on. I did not go down to it today but I will tomorrow because Princess and Oliver are going to be in the pet parade. Bad thing is it is suppose to thunderstorm tomorrow but lets hope it doesn’t during the pet parade. So, I just laid in bed most of the day, surfed the net, listened to music and watched movies on tv. Plus, I ate food and drank Dr. Pepper. It was yummy food too. Grilled shrimp, chicken, sausage, corn and veggies. Now you know my whole Saturday. Welcome to my life of fun.

The state fair is going on this week but I do not think we are going to go until next weekend because I still do not have my camera! There are so much things at the fair that make great subjects for photos. It is not cool that I do not have my Nikon but I am going to survive this down part in my life. Got to take the bad things in life and learn from them. It only makes you stronger.

Like the photo? I took it awhile ago and just love it. It is Princess’ pretty eye. Her eyes talk and just grab you in. That is what drew us in when we saw her face on Petfinder. Her big dark eyes just are so wonderful. That is my special girl for you all. This is one of my favorite closeup dog eye photos. I just love taking photos of dog eyes and dog noses.

Power Outage

Oliver CloseupHello. How is everyone on this late Thursday night? Mine has been interesting. Lets see, where do I start. Well, the power went off around four-thirty. So my mother and I had some cold food for dinner which was not too bad since it was really hot out today. Then we went to see my grandma which is always nice. After that we went to Barnes & Noble and jokingly made funny stories up of people. It was really fun and humorous. When we finished that we came home. The power was on when we got home but sadly it went off a few minutes later. Dammit! So then my mom and I took the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood. After that I just laid in bed and all of a sudden it came back on. Woohoo! I hope it doesnt go back out. It is nice to be able to see and use the internet. I do not think I will make it by twelve.

I have my senior photo tomorrow which will be fun fun fun! Then my mother, the dogs and I are going up to the cabin til Tuesday. I will hopefully be able to still borrow the internet up there.

Well, this post is a few minutes past Thursday but that is not my fault. Blame the stupid power outage. I do hope you like the photo of Oliver’s cute nose and mouth. He is such a cutie! One of my favorite photo subjects are my dogs. They have such great expressions and markings. Hope you all had a nice Thursday and I will talk to you all later today. Stay cool and Peace.
