Let me start off and say I did not go to prom. I know its like the highlight for most seniors but for me I rather focus on graduation because that’s the real highlight to me. My friends wanted me to go but I told them I will hang out with them for the weeekend and I did. My two friends and I went to Point Pleasant at the shore and we had fun. The weather was good which made the weekend even better.
It was really hot Saturday but the water was freezing. Except, that did not stop me from swimming. I am an ocean master. Its my favorite place to swim. Plus, after a few minutes I couldnt feel my legs so it was all good. Hehe. It sure felt good. The only part I did not like is the area of broken shells and rocks before you get to the water. That sure made my feet hurt. But do you know what hurt more? The sunburn I got. It burns like crazy still. I am using Aloe gel to cool it but its hard to move at times.
Prom weekend was sure fun! I had a wonderful time with my two friends Natasha and Kayla. We three are so different but we get along so well. Full of laughs, craziness and we always make memories to remember. It is good to be home though. I missed my mom, dogs, callie and my room. Hehe. Now, its time to see if I can sleep with this painful sunburn. Atleast, I got a tan out of it.
