The first snow of the year came down yesterday from the gray sky. It was not much but it warned us to get our shovels out. I don’t like winter that much but I do enjoy seeing snow fall and sticking to the ground. Watching the four seasons we get here is a spectacular thing. Its one of the reasons why I like living in New Jersey.
Hello everybody! How was your Monday? I do hope you all had a nice day. Mine was fun. Today my mom and I went to the New Jersey State Fair they have every year. It was great and always nice to spend time with my mom. Especially, a positive experience with her. The two photos I entered into the state fair photography contest did not win any ribbons. I was not trying to win anything, just enjoying doing one of my favorite things. One of the photos was of Oliver and one was of a horses whiskers. To me those two photos are winners and that is all that matters.
One of my favorite things at the state fair is all the animals they have. It was so cute watching a pig race. They ran around, jumped into a pool, swam and then ran to the finish line. So adorable and so small! They also have a big building filled with chickens, roosters, pigeons, ducks, rabbits and other small rodents people have and get ribbons for. They also had awesome Texas longhorns and draft horses that were huge! Also, they had a petting zoo where you can feed the animals with goats, donkeys, ponies, llamas and a camel. What animal was is my favorite there? It is always the goats. Goats are just so cute and I always loved them. I just love all animals. They are just wonderful and great creatures of the earth.
So, overall my mom and I had a nice day. We will be coming home tomorrow. It was a nice nice day. Anyways, do you like this photo? I still do not have my Nikon and I am too thick headed to use the Canon they let me borrow. So, I took this photo with my camera phone today at the fair and it came out pretty nice. it is the Camel at the petting zoo that just looked so cute. Hello everybody. TGIF. I am up at the cabin and it was a pretty nice day. The weather changed between sunny to cloudy all day with some rain. I got to drive to the food store and back and I did not hit anything. I feel a little more comfortable driving each time. Still haven’t groomed Lady but I am seriously going to do it tomorrow morning. She really needs it done and I really need to do it. Oh, also my mother got Daughtry’s new album for me and I love it! Such great music!
I am kinda upset about my camera right now. I took a load of photos the other day and I had to get rid of most of them because there is some kind of mark or smudge on all of them on the top. It is not a big mark but I am very picky and do not like to crop. I think its the mirror inside that needs cleaning. My mother says we should bring it to the store because she doesn’t want us to scratch it unless I find some safe method to clean it. It is just upsetting because I cant take photos til I clean it or take it to a camera store. I am missing all these good opportunities to photograph things. I hate when you do not have your camera you see all these great photos you could take if you had your camera. I hope to get it clean soon.
Do you like this photo? I was having fun with shutter speed one day in my town. I think this photo is pretty cool with the building in the background and the car going by all blurry.
