It was freezing today but that did not stop Princess and I from going to the school playground near my house. I took my camera and camcorder, which means I got a few photos and video clips. There was no one there so we had it all to ourselves and got some important bonding time. Princess and I definitely need to go on more adventures together.
Cold, cloudy skies and the smell of winter means it will be here soon. Its coming in quickly and I am not ready for it. I do not wear real winter clothes. A t-shirt, a hoodie and jeans is what i mainly wear. That is probably why I get cold all the time but I do not like long sleeve shirts and heavy jackets. The best thing about winter is its great to snuggle up with a warm dog when you are chilly. Princess sleeps on the bed with me so whenever I wake up cold I just grab her and hold her in my arms. She is so warm and her fluffy hair is coming back too.
So, I am not a big fan of winter. I prefer the spring and summer but I can survive it. The cool air does feel nice at times. Just keep the snow away for a little longer. I am not ready to shovel quite yet. Maybe I will make a snow man this year if there is enough snow to. Before I go I have a question to ask. Do you like winter and why or why not? I am telling you. My mom and I have the cutest dog in the whole world and his name is Oliver. Oh my gosh. Dont believe me? Just look at him! I can not express enough how cute and bubbly he is. Puts a big smile on my face every time he is near me. Sometimes its amazing that he is real. Never would thought such a cute heart tugging dog can be real but now I know. I have him! I wuv my little Oliver boy!
I spent most of my Saturday bathing the dogs. Killing the pesky fleas and making them smell good. The faces they gave me were so sad and cute at the same time that I could not resist grabbing my camera and photographing them. For your information they were not very fond of me for the rest of the day. Well, until it was dinner time and they became all lovey dovey. Dogs…gotta love them!
There is a lot in life that inspires me to move forward and try to succeed. But dogs inspire me the most. With their eyes, expressions and just their passion to live in the day keeps me going. Princess who is in the photo above is my main guide in life. Thats my girl. The one I can hug hug hug and she will just stay where she is until I feel better. She has a lot of patience and that to me is very important in life. I use to be very impatient. At least when I was younger. I would go nuts if I did not get food in my stomach as soon as I was hungry. I may still be upset if I do not eat for a long time but I can wait now. I can sit in a restaurant and not throw utensils around and draw on walls. Okay, I never drew on walls when I was hungry but it sounded like something I would do if I had a crayon in my little hands.
Speaking of food and being hungry, here is the Lady. Food freak of the pack. She inspires me to eat all I can. Just grab anything that is edible. She is right though. You never know when you could be living with no food. Just think of all the poor people in the world who search for a piece of bread everyday and thats how they live their life. She makes me thankful that I have food that I can eat and share with the pack. We take so much for granted in life and dont stop to realize how precious everything we have is.
Ah, its Oliver. The spunky happy pill of the pack. He makes me laugh everyday someway or another. Oliver is such a inspiration to just live. He is so happy and playful. All he wants to do is live life. He takes every chance he can get out there and enjoy life. You all know the energizer bunny. Well, Oliver is the energizer puppy. So, if Oliver could talk to you all he would tell all of you to always have fun no matter how old you are. Live life to the fullest and just go crazy. Well, just not too crazy.

Its was gorgeous weather here in Jersey today. I opened my window and the weather was just amazing for fall time. The sun was shining high in the sky with no clouds and the warmth all around. If leaves were not falling from the ground I would of thought it was spring. The beauty of weather.
So today I went on a nice long bicycle ride. Who could resist with beautiful weather that was here today. It is always good to be out and get sun. Vitamin D is important for your body and mind. Lets see. How far did I go. Eh. All the way to the end of the park and back. So, around sixteen miles. Yup. The proof? My sore knees. It was fun though. Seeing all the dogs walking and just great exercise. I always feel good after a bicycle ride.
Hehe. I took these two photos of Princess today. She was laying on a towel and I just could not resist wrapping her all up in it. She looked like she was in a cocoon for a dog. Princess is such a patient girl. Lets me do anything to her. Really though, she loves the attention. I love my girl.
Anyways, overall it was a nice four day weekend I had. Could not complain. Especially, if I get off school. Hehe. So, I saw two colleges this weekend, spent time with my mom and went on a nice long bicycle ride. Its been fun but now its soon over. Sadly there is school tomorrow. I am ready. Ready to put on my learning cap and act smart. I do hope all of you had a nice weekend. If you had nice weather also I hope you got out. Embrace the good weather before its gone. A few days ago I was outside taking photographs because the sun was shining high in the sky. Just could not resist. So, when I came back inside lovely Lady was standing right in the sunlight, staring at me. She was excited that dinner time was close so she was barking and spinning around. Such a goofy girl. Well, since the sun was nice on her beautiful face I took a whole set of photos of her. She is the beauty of the family. Just photographed her as her self.

Anyways, my day was fine. Was nice weather. The sun shining with barely any clouds. Smell of fall in the air with red and yellow leaves falling. School was boring like normal but that is okay. Had fun anyways. Always learning something even if I do not realize it. TIme to play that music and relax til I feel like sleeping. Hope everyone has a nice Monday. I am glad it is almost over. I dislike Mondays but most people do. Stay warm and enjoy the fall colors before they are gone. Peace.
Tonight was back to school night at my school. My mom went and enjoyed it. She met my teachers for the year that I have. When she got home she said she thinks I have pretty good upbeat teachers which is great for me because I do not do good with blah teachers. Most of my teachers this year are men which is funny because last year it was all women. I am enjoying the classes I am taking this year. Especially, since I do not have to take a math class. I hate math and I sure suck at it also. So, overall its been a good year so far. Just going slow and I cant wait to graduate and be done with this school thing. Unless, I decide I want to go to college.I can be pretty smart and intelligent so I might want to go to college but I am not sure yet. I will have to see where my life takes me and where I take my life.
Aww, look its cute little Oliver! I love him but really how could anyone hate this boy? He is the cutest dog in the world. At least in my opinion and I know my mom agrees. He is my happy pill and can always make me laugh. No matter how upset I am he can always put a smile on my face. He just is such a happy little dog who loves to be curious and spunky. I am so happy that it is almost Friday. This week went really slow. I do not know why but I just want it to be over. Well, I need to finish some homework and relax until I go to sleep. What can I say I love the night. I am a night owl. Good thing is I am not being crazy about staying up really late because I have school so I have been going to bed at a good time. So, then I can wake up by seven to get myself out the door for school. Play that music. Peace.
So, this weekend I went up to the cabin with my mother and my dogs. It started out like any normal weekend up at the cabin. Just hanging out. Then Princess discovered something. She was in her hunting mode. Kept sniffing and making little woofs. Then I opened the cabinet and look what i discovered. Baby mice! They were definitely just born with their eyes still sealed shut. I am not sure how many are in there because there is a lot of fluff in there for a mouse nest. It was pretty freaky at first because I did not think I would really find anything and then you open a cabinet and find naked little mice. Just a shocker.
Princess pretty much guarded the cabinet the whole time while we were there. She so badly wanted to get in there. The baby mice kept making little chirps during the day and night. It was pretty cool to hear them. They were probably calling momma mouse for food. Is momma alive? Oh yes I saw her. I opened the cabinet before I went to bed to see them and I saw momma run to the back and hide. So momma is around and taking good care of her babies. That makes me happy that they will be alright.
All that action in the afternoon made me hungry. So, last night for dinner my mom and I went to a Chinese Japanese restaurant near our cabin. I love food! Anyways, I had a chicken teriyaki dinner box. It is what I always eat when I go there. It is sooooo yummy! These california rolls came with it and I sure gobbled them down. I ate the whole box of food and I was stuffed when I was done. It was a nice yummy dinner with my mom. Ginger! Confused about that? Do not worry about it. It is an inside joke with my mom.
So, if you did not know my dogs are infested with fleas. Ew right? Disgusting and annoying. So, before I gave Princess a flea bath I shaved Princess down today. It makes it easier to get all the fleas off her. Lets just say Princess was not very happy about it. She wanted to just escape and hide. Princess is such a patient girl. Did you know Princess had this almost exact same haircut when we adopted her? Yes, those eyes are what grabbed my moms heart when she saw Princess on petfinder. Princess seems to be feeling better after her flea bath I gave her. Lady is next on the list to groom. She will be a pain. Do not worry Lady I love you.
Princess is a such a hunter. Before we headed home she discovered that a mouse lives in this cabinet in the kitchen. She wanted to get it so badly. So, she kept sniffing and scratching at the cabinet to try to get in. Sorry Princess I rather you not get bit by a mouse. But, thanks for discovering more mice for us. These mice are lucky that my mother and I love animals or these little rodents would be dead.
So, I hope you enjoyed my adventures I had this weekend. I sure did. Pretty fun and exciting. I cant believe school is tomorrow. Someone make the weekend longer. Ugh. Alright I will go and survive. Anyways, I am going to relax and listen to some music. Surf the net a little and just enjoy the night before its gone. Then tomorrow is school which means time to party it up. I am very happy that it is almost Friday. I got a half day tomorrow which I am very excited about. Yippy! Also, then it is Labor Day weekend which means I got a three day weekend. So happy about that. Labor Day weekend is just around the corner.
School stinks. Its alright but just lame. School is lame lame lame. I will survive it at least since it is my senior year. Crazy senior year. Lots of fun. Lots of craziness. Lots of thinking about getting out in to the big big world. Dun dun dun. Anyways, I am going to hike through this senior year and graduate. Then I will see what the future brings me. What direction I want to go in life. What a gal like me could succeed at. Lots of thinking but can not overwhelm myself with the thought of college and future. My main goal is to graduate.
Its a photo of Callie and Princess! Aww, look how cute they are together. Callie likes to grab Princess’ hair and Princess is not a big fan of that so she growls a little bit but she does not snap because she is a love. Princess knows how to tolerate annoying siblings because she deals with Oliver everyday. By the way I forgot to update you all about Callie’s foot. She is not limping anymore and is enjoying her life to the fullest. Just jumping around and playing. Always loves to play. Great source of entertainment right here in my room.
Anways, I am going to listen to some music and hit the sack. My body will probably crash in a little while because I need to get up at six again for school. Woohoo. NOT! Well, at least it will be Friday. I will talk to you all soon and hope you all had a nice week and a good Friday. Peace
