The Hanging Pear https://www.annasangle.com/?p=1420 https://www.annasangle.com/?p=1420#comments Wed, 21 Jul 2010 20:14:59 +0000 http://annasangle.wordpress.com/?p=1420 This is probably my favorite photo that I took yesterday of the pear tree. The composition is awesome and it has a nice soft feel to it. Kind of like it shows the fragile side of nature. Anyways, I am spending most of my day fooling around with photos. So, I decided to convert my pear photo to black and white to see how it looks. It came out nicely. Even though I do prefer the color one I do like the black and white one also. What do you think?

Pears pears and more pears! https://www.annasangle.com/?p=1413 https://www.annasangle.com/?p=1413#comments Wed, 21 Jul 2010 03:18:04 +0000 http://annasangle.wordpress.com/?p=1413 Every year the little pear tree in our front yard grows more pears each year. Except, we never get to eat them. Why? Because the greedy but cute squirrels always take them before they are big enough to eat. This year is different though. We still have all the pears and they are almost ready to eat. Where are the squirrels? It was a mystery for a little but I put my brain to work and figured it out. We havent filled the bird feeders in the backyard for months which attracted squirrels. Which means they probably moved on to other areas. Arent I brilliant? So, now we got lots of pears on our tree. Lucky us.

Dont they look yummy? I bet they will be juicy soon. Pears are so delicious. Anyone want one or two? Maybe I will share with the squirrels. Take some for myself and leave the rest for the outside critters. Keep the rain and sun coming and make these pears big!

Spring Clouds https://www.annasangle.com/?p=1030 https://www.annasangle.com/?p=1030#comments Wed, 31 Mar 2010 03:00:36 +0000 http://annasangle.wordpress.com/?p=1030 Spring weather. Gotta love it! Its been raining for the past few days but that’s okay because the next few days it is suppose to be sunny and in the seventies! I took this photo about a week or so ago. I loved how no all the clouds were getting lit up by the sun. Clouds even look better in the Spring time. Hehe. Maybe its just my excitement. What is your favorite thing about Spring? Mine is probably watching plants come alive again and the warmer weather. Gotta love it!

Most of us are in such a rush to get where we are going in life, we miss out on one of the spectacular beauties of the sky. Stop. Take a breath and look up. You will never see the same clouds as the day before. Some days it looks like an animal of some sorts. At times the clouds can look just like a random odd shape but then other days the clouds can look like a painting on a big blue canvas. The beauty of nature is all around you, under you and above you.  So, my question of the day is what was your favorite cloud formation you have ever seen?

Snow! https://www.annasangle.com/?p=761 https://www.annasangle.com/?p=761#comments Mon, 07 Dec 2009 04:37:25 +0000 http://annasangle.wordpress.com/?p=761

The first snow of the year came down yesterday from the gray sky. It was not much but it warned us to get our shovels out. I don’t like winter that much but I do enjoy seeing snow fall and sticking to the ground. Watching the four seasons we get here is a spectacular thing. Its one of the reasons why I like living in New Jersey.

Chills of Fall https://www.annasangle.com/?p=688 https://www.annasangle.com/?p=688#comments Sun, 08 Nov 2009 02:13:43 +0000 http://annasangle.wordpress.com/?p=688 TreeoftheGround_09

It was really cold last night. The weather forecast said it was 30, which means it was the first freeze here. Thats cold enough for me. A little too cold but I am pretty much use to the cold and warm weather around here. Just have to bundle up. I wore a long sleeved shirt, my red sweatshirt, my blue long pants and socks last night. Plus, I had the heat on medium to keep me snuggy warm. It was nice. Especially, since I always seem to wake up cold. Luckily, it is not suppose to be as cold as it was tonight. I hope everyone stays warm and snuggly on this chilly night. Peace.
