Crazy Callie

Callie_CatYay, it is almost Friday! I am excited. I bet all of you are too. Not feeling great today. Had a fever going on and a really bad migraine with nausea. It comes and it goes but the migraine is really bad. It is like knives stabbing my head. Probably because of the rainy weather coming through. Yo, everyone guess what. Tonight I watched the first episode of the new season of The Office. It is one of my favorite shows. Just funny and really well done. If you have not seen it you must.

I thought I would talk about Callie tonight. i know a few of you asked about her so I thought I would do an update about how she is doing. Anyways, Callie is doing great. She sure is a crazy little kitten. I do not think she has grown much since I got her. Maybe a pound or so but thats it really. Callie is doing well with the dogs. Which is a great thing. Oliver and her love to play together. It is the cutest thing. They look adorable together. When Oliver comes up in the morning I wake up to him and Callie running around. Its so funny. Goofy pets. Callie likes to play with Princess at times. She likes to grab Princess’ hair but Princess just sniffs her and then goes to sleep. Princess is not as playful as Oliver though but that is alright. On the other hand I am still cautious about Lady around Callie. Lady is allowed to sniff Callie but I do not trust Lady if I put Callie on the floor. Lady likes to chase and nip so I do not need Callie to get a chunk bitten out of her. I am allowing Lady get more and more contact with Callie though. Its good social skills for Lady. So, overall Callie is doing well. She is eating, pooping, peeing, playing, sleeping and just being a cat.

I decided I would post a picture of Callie since I wanted to talk about her. Isnt she cute? She looks like she is saying roar! Haha. Anyways, I am going to rest since I do not feel great. Listen to some music and sleep. Lets all be happy that it is almost Friday. I know I am. I do hope to talk to you all soon. Oh, by the way Callie says night night. Peace.

Bust the Bullies

chair_of_artI got a topic to talk about today. Bullying. No no no I am not getting bullied. I am not an easy person to bully and I do not remember really anytimes I have been bullied. I live in an area that is pretty accepting of people. Anyways, today in my school we had our usual beginning meeting and they brought it up. I actually know a lot about it just because I have heard different stories about people who got bullied. Did you know there is a law in New Jersey for bullying? Yes, you can get charged for bullying or harassing someone. The law will get you.

So, it is actually sad to hear the different bullying stories. You hear stories of children being bullied in school and out of school. The really sad part is parents will contact the schools and sometimes the staff there do not believe the child is being bullied or it is serious so they just let it go. There is a big problem with that. Being bullied can really affect a person. Just imagine everyday you know someone is going to put you down, push you around and just hurt you mentally and physically. It can change a person dramatically. Sadly, some people can not handle the suffering anymore and they commit suicide to get rid of the bullying.

We can really stop bullying if we all work hard to prevent it. There is bullying all around us even if you think there is not. I think its really important for all schools to take bullying seriously and do everything they can to stop it. Not everyone who gets bullied reaches out for help but a lot of them do and we just need to help them before it is too late. Bullying is wrong and painful. If you ever witness bullying report it to someone. Do not just walk by. I will tell you something. I do not think I am the kind of person to just walk by if I saw someone being bullied. I stand up for people and help them out. That is what I do and I am proud of it. Stop bullies one bully at a time.

Moving on, isnt it a cool photo? I took this with photobooth on my imac. It is my desk chair at my computer desk. As you can see I drew all over it. Gave it my own special touch. I sure love the paws I drew on the chair. Why did I draw all over it? Well, I like to draw and I was bored so I took a sharpie and just started drawing. The chair is not done yet. I wanna cover it with more drawings when ideas come to my brain. Just a little bit of my artistic side. Hope you like it.

Well, time to just relax before I crash. Jam to some good tunes and read some news. Listen to rain falling from the dark sky outside and laugh at Callie being her crazy self. I sure love that cat. Anyways, I hope you all had a nice non bullying day. Talk to you soon. Peace.

Bridge of Graffiti

bridge_graffitiEw, it is suppose to rain for the next couple of days. I hope my sinus headaches dont get too bad. Going to power walk through the pain and succeed at senior year. My goal is to graduate. Graduation is so far but so close at the same time. It will be here sooner than I know it but not soon enough. School school school. It is not that bad. It has its down times but that is school. I have no more frees because I do not have enough credits to graduate. If I did not switch my frees to classes I would end up being held back and I definitely do not want that. The thing is the classes are not that bad. Taking some photography classes which is right down my alley.

Anyways, enough of talking about school. Do you like this photo? I thought it came out pretty interesting. The graffiti grabbed my eye and just had to photograph it. I know graffiti is bad but it is pretty awesome. Great art to the eye in my opinion. Especially to photograph. Took a few photos of this graffiti but this was the only one I liked. Let me know what you think of the composition and anything else.

So, I hope you all had a nice Tuesday. I did. I enjoyed the sun before it will be gone behind clouds for the next couple of days. I will miss the great sun but I do not mind cloudy weather and rain besides the bad migraines I get. Anyways, I am going to relax and listen to some music. Dread of Monday

old_buildingThe song Manic Monday by The Bangles is my Monday theme song. Just another manic Monday.  Oh, Mondays are so long and seem like they never end. The school day was fine. Nothing really big happened. Just went to my classes and did some work. I am very proud of myself. Tonight, I wrote my two page paper for history which is due tomorrow. Woohoo! I did homework even though that word is not in my dictionary. I gave myself a pat on the back.

Did you all here Patrick Swayze died today at the age if 57. He was a great actor and a good looking guy. Just grabbed you in every movie he did. I did not know this until I looked it up today but he played the voice of Cash in the movie Fox and the Hound. I loved that movie so much but my favorite movies he was in has to be Black Dog and Ghost. He was just one of those actors you will remember. At least I will. R.I.P. Patrick Swayze.

Anyways, moving on. Lets see. I took this photo yesterday when I went on my long walk with Princess. It is an old tower that is located along a pathway in the park. I love the rocks and just the feeling this building has. Buildings can be very expressive if you capture them well. Anyone can take a photo of a building but you should get the feeling of the building first so you can capture something special. Take your time while shooting buildings and get the best angles and views of the architecture. I do not usually photograph buildings but I like to photograph old buildings with history. I do love photographing old barns though. Some of my favorite photographs I look at are of old falling apart barns. Just love the feeling and history those photographs give.

So, its a nice night. I am going to listen to music. Download some songs. Surf the net. Talk to some peeps and just relax until my eyes close and I pass out. Lady come back!

Tree_Stump_MushroomsWhat a lovely Sunday it has been. Sunshine and warmth. You all know what I like to do in that kind of weather. Photography and some good outdoor exercise. So, I took Princess and my camera on a walk today through the park. We did not do sixteen miles like last time but we went pretty far. Took some photos and actually kept most of them. I can be really picky when it comes to picking my photos to keep. If I take a hundred photos I can end up keeping only five to ten of them. It really depends what I capture and if it comes out clear and stunning.

Lady. The sneaky escape artist of the pack. So, around six or seven tonight I was up in my room and I hear my mom yelling Lady Lady Lady! She usually steals things from the kitchen but did not hear any words that sound like she stole something. So, I rushed downstairs and I went to the backyard and my mom was rushing around saying Lady escaped the yard. So I jumped my backyard fence to figure out which way she went. Then my mom comes around and saw her in our backyard neighbors backyard so she grabbed her.  Good thing she did not get far.

The reason Lady escaped. Alright, so our neighborhood is filled with kids and mostly little boys who love to run around. So, the big game of the neighborhood is manhunt. I am not explaining the game but lets just say it has to do with running all over the place. Boys love going through our yard to get to another street faster. The problem with that is we have fencing up to keep the dogs in the yard. Well, the boys broke through some rope that kept part of the fence closed. Big problem is Lady is really good at finding escape routes. So, she found the broken rope and escaped. Boys stay out.

Let me share something with you all. As you all know my dogs are my world. They are my happiness and I love them to bits. If my dogs ever escape and get seriously hurt or killed because of kids who do not listen I am seriously going to sue. Do not mess with me and my dogs. I will raise hell. I am telling you if I catch some of these boys in my yard again I am going to give them a serious talk. Then they can go crying home and tell their parents why I was mean to them. Their parents can come to me and be upset but I am not going to let these kids put my dogs at risk of getting hurt. I know that sounds harsh but that is how I am when it comes to my dogs.

Moving on. I love walking through the park. It is very shaded with woods surrounding the path with a river on one side. While walking I came across this tree trunk that had awesome mushrooms growing on it. Just had to take a photo of it. I could not resist. What do you think the photo? Like it? Dislike it?

Oh, please tell me tomorrow is not Monday already. Ugh, hope the night does not zoom by. I am going to enjoy every minute of tonight before I have to go to school tomorrow. Lets see what shall I do. I am going to listen to some music. Maybe, add more songs to my ipod. Also, I am going to surf the internet and read some news. Then pass out in a few hours. A Day Of Rain

Its been a nasty rainy day here. Seems like it has not stopped raining all day.  Just rain, rain and more rain. The thing is its always nice for the plants to get water. Rain is better than a drought. Sometimes I like cloudy rainy weather better than sunny days. I did get a bad headache today from the rain but its slowly getting better so its all good. Princess does not care that it rains. She still will go outside and explore but Lady and Oliver are more hesitant about it when its wet out.

As you can see Callie likes to watch movies. I took these two photos the other day when I stayed home from school with a bad cold. That is the day I watched seven movies in a row. Callie was very interested so she watched them with me. I think she wants to learn everything about humans and then own me and take over the world. I better be careful what I let her watch. She got the front row seat as you can see. She is such a spoiled cat.

Anyways, I did not do much today because of the rain but that is okay. Just happy to get some sleep and not have school. So now I am going to relax until I fall asleep. Moving Forward from 9/11

black_eyed_susans_09As everyone knows today was the day of the attacks in New York City in 2001. I am not going to talk about it because I believe we should all move forward with it. Yes, lets remember all the people who lost their lives and were heroes but we do not need to keep making such a big deal out of it. Moving forward is the most important thing for this country. Lets not hold on to hate and fear. We must be strong and we will make it. If we grieve always because of what happened in the past we will never move forward. We will never forget the ones who lost their lives on 9/11 but we must take steps forward and continue doing so. Rest in peace all the lives lost on 9/11. You will never be forgotten.

Movie Thursday

red_flower_09I stayed home sick today. Got a bad cold and a bad sinus headache. The cold is getting better at least. You know what I did all day? I watched movies on my imac. I watched seven movies. Thats a record for me in one day. I rocked the movie world today. Lets see. I watched Black Dog, Cry Baby, Final Destination 4, Shadowheart, Bitten, Prayers for Bobby and The Horse Boy. It was lots of fun and got lots of rest.

Its a pretty red flower. This photo was taken a few days ago I liked how the sun hit the flower perfectly. It is not one of my top favorite photos but its nice. Just a pretty flower photo. Success

CallieA good education will make you successful. That is the message I got from President Obama’s education speech. A lot of schools played it in school but mine did not. But, my mom sent me the link telling me that it is very inspiring and I should watch it. So, yes I watched it. I will admit for a gal who hates school it was very inspiring. It is very true that no school is a good school unless the students and staff give it their all. Homework is not in my dictionary but I will give it a go this year. I am going to succeed this year instead of just throwing everything away like last year. I can do it. I will do it. Moving forward is the only way you can succeed.

Sad thing is that probably a lot of the students who heard this speech today did not take it with them. I know how those young brains work. Some things go in one ear and just bolt out the other. Especially, if this speech bored students. Boredom makes words not click. I do hope some young students take it with them through their years and do everything they can to succeed. We need the successful people in this country to keep us going. Do not give up. Do not drop out. Do the work and it will pay off. I know personally, that it seems like school is the worse thing out there but really their are worse situations. There are people who do not get any education. People who would die to get the education I get or you get. Just take everything you can from what you learn in school and you will succeed in your life. Just give it your all.

Anyways, *sneeze*. I got a cold. Runny nose, soar throat and just a tired feeling. Yucky, worse thing about school is the all the sickness going around always. Just give me a box of tissues and some chocolate. So, overall my day was alright. Not much happened. In gym we had to see how many push ups and sit ups we could do. I did 40 sit ups and 30 push ups. This gal got some muscles. Beat that!

So, do you like this photo of Callie? I liked the lighting. Just the sun is perfect on her cute face. She is doing well. Running around like a little crazy kitten. She makes me smile. Well, anyways, I am going to listen to some music, sneeze a little and then crash in bed. Hate being sick. Be positive and you will go far in life. Peace.

Happy Labor Day

pinkflowers_09Ha, I can barely walk today. I am walking like a penguin all around. My feet, ankles and thighs are in pain but not too bad. Yes, its been a good day because no school. Thanks to the holiday Labor Day. No, that does not mean I am in labor sheesh. Oh my gosh my mom would KILL me of I was in labor. Do not worry mom your daughter aint prego and I definately not going to be for a few years. Anwyays everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the holiday. No school makes it a great day.

Sadly I have school tomorrow. Someone please tell me it aint so. Oh man, well I guess I will survive it. Just got to make sure I got my ipod charged and I am ready to go. My classes are not too bad. Just classes to get me through the year and then graduate! Do I have homework? Sorry, that word is not in my dictionary. This year wont be too bad as long as I get through it that is all that matters to me.
