Kids of the River

I am doing pretty well this year in school. Got all my homework done so far. Woot. I hate homework but I need to do well this year. It is my last year to do the best I can and succeed. For English I had to write a college essay about what makes me unique. Guess what I wrote about. Just Guess. Okay okay I will tell you. I wrote about my interest in photography and how I look at the world differently with a camera in my hand. Yup yup. It was not hard for me since its a big passion to me and I write about it everyday here. Goal for the year. To get good grades and be happy with myself at the end of senior year knowing I tried my hardest.

So what do you think of these two photos? I thought they were pretty cool. Neat reflections. These kids were actually swimming in the river when I was walking by but did not get any photos of them in the water. When I saw them standing near the edge of the river and the nice reflections I knew I had to get some photos. I would actually like to start doing more people portraits. So many interesting people out there with great personalities that show in photographs. Wanna be my models? I think I am going to practice with my friends and neighbors. They will be a good start. Anyways, the day went by and it was not too bad. No big drama. Just regular teen talk. Also, gave my dogs flea baths to get rid of those annoying pests on them. Poor pooches just scratch scratch scratch. Hopefully, it will help them. It better! Ah, time to relax and listen to some good music. Come back warm weather

Sunflowers_09Fall brought the cool air with it. I am not ready for long pants and sweatshirts yet. Maybe it is because summer went by so fast and just want the warm weather to last. Im also sad the days are getting shorter and shorter. Not as much time to spend outside after school. No real long bicycle rides that enjoy. Please come back warm weather. I miss you already.

I put the sunflowers as the photo of the day so I think of summer and warm weather. Ahhh! Well, my day was not bad. Just an average day. School was good. No drama drama today which is always nice. Not a fan of drama. Anyways, time to relax. Put some heat on and stay nice and warm in my room. Brrr. Hope you all stay warm and not freeze your booties off. I will chit chat with y’all soon. Peace.

Pals for Life

Ah, Oliver and Callie love each other. They are always wresting and just enjoy each others company. Who knew they would get along so well. Callie use to be scared of Oliver because all he wanted to do was play. After a while Callie became brave and realized he would make a perfect play mate. Now, she jumps all over him. Its so cute.

Arent they cute? They just play play play. Maybe nap a little but then they are playing again. I am so happy they get a long and Princess is glad Oliver has a new playmate. Now she can enjoy not being chewed on all the time. Well, sometimes Callie chews on her too but she deals with it. Here is a video I recorded of Oliver and Callie playing. So cute!

Sorry, I am posting so late. I had to write a seven page history paper on television that is due tomorrow. Well, it turned out to be four pages but I tried. It came out alright. I will see what the teacher thinks about it and I will do better on my next paper knowing what he expects and all. Overall, my day has been good. No school. Yay. Oh well I am going to relax and go to bed soon because I need to wake up early for school. Blah. I hope you all had a good Monday and enjoy the pictures and video I posted of Oliver and Callie. waterscapeIts been a rainy day here. Seems like every time I look out the window the street is wet from rain or I hear raindrops hitting my air conditioner. That is okay though. Rain is good for the earth. It makes everything thrive on life. Anyways, did you all here or see that I made my flickr a pro flickr account now? I thought it was time to. Just have so many images to share. Do not worry I will still be posting my best and favorite photos here. Just have so many photos to share with you all I need a place to do so. That means I will probably adding photos to my flickr daily. Make sure to check it out and add me as a friend if you use flickr. Hope you enjoy all my photos.

So, I have off tomorrow which is great. Its a Jewish holiday so our school is closed. It is always wonderful to have a day off. Especially, a Monday. I do have to write a paper though for History which will be lots of fun fun fun (sarcasm). Discovering a lot of good songs right now and looking at some great photography across the internet. The Jersey Chills

tree_wordsWhy run through life when you can walk? Life may be short but there is so much to take in before its gone from us. If you run through life you will miss the beauty in it. You will miss the little sudden changes in nature and life itself. Take your time through life and you will cherish everything more. Run and you might miss something and regret it when its too late. Do not hesitate to live. Life is short and you only have one. So, get out there and do what you like and do not let yourself be held back by anyone or anything.

Ah cool weather here in Jersey. Its been in the sixties here which is kinda chilly but not too bad. You can tell summer is gone and fall is here. Noo! Well, I may not like the cold that much but its great to see the seasons change. Great time to take photos. So, a question just came to my brain to ask you all. Do you like cold weather or warm weather better?

Look at this tree. I took this one day while walking through the park with Princess. As you can see it says Ann and if it had an a at the end it would of been my name. I thought it was just a pretty cool tree with the words to photograph. Something you do not see everyday. Anyways, its a great night to just surf the net and play with Callie. I have my music playing and right now the song Obsessed by Mariah Carey is on. Ah, I just love music so much. So, I hope you all had a nice Saturday and I will be on if anyone wants to chit chat. Last Friday of September

CallieI watched Rescue Ink tonight on National Geographic. I enjoyed it because it was a show about these tough men rescuing animals in NYC. These men were not cops but gave their time and energy to helping and rescuing animals in need. The next episode is next Friday and I will probably watch it. If you like shows to do with animals and helping them this is the show for you.

September is almost over. The weather is slowly changing. Its getting cooler and the leaves are slowly starting to change colors. Soon I am going to have to start using the heat in my room and wear warmer clothes. I am not a big fan of winter and the cold weather that comes with it. I may be Russian but the cold and I do not really get along. Plus, not as much sun which can cause me to get more depressed than usual. I will survive winter as long as I have heat in my room. Ha. I like the cozy warm feeling. Lets all hybernate during the winter. Go in a dark cave and sleep and when we wake it spring will be coming alive. Sounds good to me.

Anwyays, like the photo? Its Callie girl laying on the window sill in my room. Callie likes the warmth from the sun and watching all the action that goes on outside. Right now Callie is laying next to Princess on my bed. It is so cute. Be happy everyone it is Friday. I am. Plus I have Monday off which is great. Three day weekend! Ah, time to surf the net for some interesting content and listen to a variety of music. Maybe talk to some people and just enjoy the night. I hope you all have a nice weekend. Peace.

School Night

Oliver_Cabin_09Tonight was back to school night at my school. My mom went and enjoyed it. She met my teachers for the year that I have. When she got home she said she thinks I have pretty good upbeat teachers which is great for me because I do not do good with blah teachers.  Most of my teachers this year are men which is funny because last year it was all women. I am enjoying the classes I am taking this year. Especially, since I do not have to take a math class. I hate math and I sure suck at it also. So, overall its been a good year so far. Just going slow and I cant wait to graduate and be done with this school thing. Unless, I decide I want to go to college.I can be pretty smart and intelligent so I might want to go to college but I am not sure yet. I will have to see where my life takes me and where I take my life.

Aww, look its cute little Oliver! I love him but really how could anyone hate this boy? He is the cutest dog in the world. At least in my opinion and I know my mom agrees. He is my happy pill and can always make me laugh. No matter how upset I am he can always put a smile on my face. He just is such a happy little dog who loves to be curious and spunky. So, anyways what do you think of the photo? Like? Dislike? I like the lighting and composition of this photo. Oliver was very comfortable as you can see in the photo.

I am so happy that it is almost Friday. This week went really slow. I do not know why but I just want it to be over. Well, I need to finish some homework and relax until I go to sleep. What can I say I love the night. I am a night owl. Good thing is I am not being crazy about staying up really late because I have school so I have been going to bed at a good time. So, then I can wake up by seven to get myself out the door for school. Play that music. Peace.

Changing of Cravings

You know all I have been drinking lately is water. I buy a water bottle at school which lasts the whole day and then when I come home I drink about one or one and a half bottles of water til I go to sleep. My cravings change every few months or so. I mean I still like vitamin water but I just do not drink it. It is good once in awhile now instead of drinking one to three bottles of it a day. Water is my thing now. Its what tastes good to me right now.Plus, it is the best drink for me.

I am the same way with food also. I go through periods of liking something and then moving on to something else. Well, besides snickers. Snickers never gets old. Same thing with pasta. I could eat pasta everyday and never get sick of it. But, the problem with that is it is not the healthiest thing for me to eat. Sometimes I have a craving for a ham sandwich that lasts maybe a week or a few but then I can not eat them anymore. I am strange but I am not picky with food really. If it is on my plate I will eat it most likely. Well, unless its something not appealing to my stomach. I sure love food. Food is so good!

Look at this car. Great way to display plants eh? I think so. When we were at the cabin we went to this wonderful farm with great plants and animals. Its one of my favorite farms out there. This farm is very popular during the Halloween season with all their pumpkins and costumes they have for sale. We walked by this car and just had to take some photos of it. What do you think?

Oh my its only Wednesday night. I do not know what it is but this week is just dragging by. Anyways, I hope you all had a nice enjoyable Wednesday. Mine was just a school day but I survived. I am going to listen to music. Maybe, make some things in photoshop or draw. I will see what I want to do. Then I will get nice and sleepy and crash. Talk to you all soon I hope. Peace.

Sunny Summer Sunflower

SunflowerDid you know summer time is almost over here? Yup, and then fall is here. Fall is a really pretty season with all the trees changing colors. The green tree leaves will turn red, yellow and orange. It will be a great season to take leaf photos. So early heads up. Be ready for lots of fall photos.By the way, my Monday was not so bad. It could of been worse but I did not want a hell Monday.

So, I took this photo when I was at the cabin. These awesome sunflowers were standing high in the sky outside a diner we eat out. I love sunflowers. Like the photo? Well, I am tired so I am gonna chillax and crash. I will talk to you all soon. Peace.

Weekend Adventures

baby_mouseSo, this weekend I went up to the cabin with my mother and my dogs. It started out like any normal weekend up at the cabin. Just hanging out. Then Princess discovered something. She was in her hunting mode. Kept sniffing and making little woofs. Then I opened the cabinet and look what i discovered. Baby mice! They were definitely just  born with their eyes still sealed shut. I am not sure how many are in there because there is a lot of fluff in there for a mouse nest. It was pretty freaky at first because I did not think I would really find anything and then you open a cabinet and find naked little mice. Just a shocker.

PrincessPrincess pretty much guarded the cabinet the whole time while we were there. She so badly wanted to get in there. The baby mice kept making little chirps during the day and night. It was pretty cool to hear them. They were probably calling momma mouse for food. Is momma alive? Oh yes I saw her. I opened the cabinet before I went to bed to see them and I saw momma run to the back and hide. So momma is around and taking good care of her babies. That makes me happy that they will be alright.

dinnerAll that action in the afternoon made me hungry. So, last night for dinner my mom and I went to a Chinese Japanese restaurant near our cabin. I love food! Anyways, I had a chicken teriyaki dinner box. It is what I always eat when I go there.  It is sooooo yummy! These california rolls came with it and I sure gobbled them down. I ate the whole box of food and I was stuffed when I was done. It was a nice yummy dinner with my mom. Ginger! Confused about that? Do not worry about it. It is an inside joke with my mom.

princesshaircutSo, if you did not know my dogs are infested with fleas. Ew right? Disgusting and annoying. So, before I gave Princess a flea bath I shaved Princess down today. It makes it easier to get all the fleas off her. Lets just say Princess was not very happy about it. She wanted to just escape and hide. Princess is such a patient girl. Did you know Princess had this almost exact same haircut when we adopted her? Yes, those eyes are what grabbed my moms heart when she saw Princess on petfinder. Princess seems to be feeling better after her flea bath I gave her. Lady is next on the list to groom. She will be a pain. Do not worry Lady I love you.

princesshuntkitchenPrincess is a such a hunter. Before we headed home she discovered that a mouse lives in this cabinet in the kitchen. She wanted to get it so badly. So, she kept sniffing and scratching at the cabinet to try to get in. Sorry Princess I rather you not get bit by a mouse. But, thanks for discovering more mice for us. These mice are lucky that my mother and I love animals or these little rodents would be dead.

So, I hope you enjoyed my adventures I had this weekend. I sure did. Pretty fun and exciting. I cant believe school is tomorrow. Someone make the weekend longer. Ugh. Alright I will go and survive. Anyways, I am going to relax and listen to some music. Surf the net a little and just enjoy the night before its gone. Then tomorrow is school which means time to party it up.
